Spoiler alert. So a man with not much hair has a woman's adress and gets in her house. Looks like he doesn't recognize her at first. He doesn't want her to remember his face (because she saw him just before he knocked her out) so he plugs her into a memory modifyer machine and erases that short memory instant. However, he did not come for that purpose, looks rather he had the order to silence the memory of a witness since she actually did witness a crime earlier: three men and one was shot. The intruder modifies the memory of the woman again, changing the face of the murderer to someone else among choice of thugs from his memory database, a guy he would like her to frame. Having done this, he goes to the bathroom were he discovers a scent which seems to string a cord. He then discover the woman's painting and realizes she has painted his face several times. Intrigued she might know him he interrogates her memory again and finds some scenes of the past where he's proposing to her and both seem very happy. It's not clear if the marriage went through, anyway for some unknown reason he chose to abandon her or maybe was forced to do so in order to protect her (the motivation is rather unclear). His memory seem to have been erased but now, with the access to her memory, it's all coming back. Apparently in order to protect her once more, he decides to erase every memory trace of himself in her memory which seems very painfull for him to do. She will no longer be able to recognize him as her run-away husband or lover which has suddenly come back, he now is just a random stranger. He lets her wake-up and with a gun at her disposal, she approaches him, very frightened and seems about to shoot him. He does not try to prevent it or fight getting killed. It's curtains at that most suspensful moment but we don't hear a shot. So yeah, very intesting story concept and plot, which was left mostly in darkness and asked the viewer to work out the missing links. I was rather taken away by the emotional depth. Enjoyed it! Thanks.

Cliffhanger for sure, but questions... obviously, he knew she could recognize him as the suspect (?... but... did he remember being part of her life? Was she just a 'job' at first, needing to remove his memory from her thoughts, or did he know what she was to him. I thought I saw surprise when the handwriting matched the note he had written... He knew he'd spent too long deciding what to erase. Did he not erase it? Otherwise, she wouldn't have known who he was when she 'woke up early'??? I did see the acceptance of his fate on his face at the end, though. Wow I need more of this story 😩 Nice work 👏 ❤

So the guy who broke into her apartment, assaulted her, knocked her out and is erasing a crime she witnessed from her memory for a criminal organization he worked for while dating her (and lying about it? was he the guy the cop asked about?) had his memory of her erased but now it’s coming back to him? Is that what’s going on here? If so, she’s better off without him, safer. Lovely filming and lighting, her apartment was great too.

Outstanding. As he's waiting for the killer's face to be replaced, he notices more clues that tug at his memory, particularly the paintings of his face. He finds her memories of him and realizes with shock he had the perfect life with her, and in shock, decides to erase her memories of him because he's a criminal with new life. Then he mourns in front o her mirror. She unexpectedly (?) awakes and as she faces him with the gun, he accepts death because of his loss

Agree, that's one of the thesis of the movie. Our minds are mysterous and maybe they should remain as such. A full comprehension of the human brain (and/or mind, depending on where you stand philosophically speaking) could lead to objectification, alienation, dehumanization and eventually a loss of a sense of self

Great film @@danielpadrotargarona8374 and really enjoyed. It is what I would call cerebra[ly] suspense[ful] he he if that makes sense!? As to what ya'll are speaking about, the movie THESIS and the potential such a capability exist. I submit the path of logic, reason, experience & available[tier access] data overwhelmingly[maybe] says you, me & us more than likely, presently are living in one such world! The ability to transfer, like download you......your DATA[?] or something maybe essence[?] [I forget the proper term used] into another drone/clone or some type of capable [another human?] host lol. It has parameters that are required & necessary for systems success. I can recall some like say "7x's [times]" one person can only do it before degradation, corruption and loss of the DATA . Not sure if I am honest of actual number of repeat transfer/downloads but 7 seven came to mind from somewhere he he whatever 7 or 20 or 3 it is a thingy..........yeah so there is that! There are surely benefits to such a capability though right!? We know . . . . . . there are just even medical catastrophic event & damage of the HUMAN suit ..... SLEEVE is a term I think /;^) As with all things it is always the HUMAN element, the idea, creative thought and put to action. Question is→ What matters is from where that process, where all that originally came from......DaRK or LiGHT really!? Because seems that is where the harbinger of potentiality engages us forward, ......always forward. → Seems like lately HUMANS are setting up[or getting set up] for an end. → eND of the DaRK age into a LiGHT one → to be clear those of the DaRK lets say, that continue will fail → the say negative things used will not function. I say this because if I am correct & this is true then the capability to say transfer a HUMANS essence into another HUMAN or host, bio-whatever, if that is idk FOR THE GOOD or for the LiGHT lol [sounds fruit loop ha ha] then it can work. If it is for bad/DaRK it will not work. Because: Think of it as a computer system, and it has a operating system, and that has BASE CODE that is immutable. So if a action to create or cause an event or use a substance or whatever someone trys to do goes against BASE CODE of say like NATURAL LAW, do no harm right. Then you could only execute within those terms, in that BASE CODE all else would FAIL........you could not w e a p o n i z e anything. Thats a short overview of the transition as I understand it to date. of the process Its all systems, frequency, & HUMANS participation and .........LAW Apology for the page but got on a roll and thought I would share with ya'll because, once you know you can not un-know /;^) Ahhhhh man the double edged sword[s] of the world. WeSaveUs Do No Harm [unless] SemperProrsum~Godspeed [IF I am being honest i did not proof this [much] so hope it made logic understanding, its real world data.......being honest]

No, you're not dumb! So, near future: our protagonist is a criminal specialized in manipulating memories. Someone hired him to falsify the memories of a witness before she can identify the killer in a police lineup (this is all hinted by dialogue). After he is done, he sees the painting and starts navigating her memories. He realizes he used to be engaged to the witness and that his memory has been altered too. He decides to elimate any trace of himself in her memory in order to give her closure, but she wakes up from sedation before what he expected. Did he manage to wipe all of her memories of him?
