Excellent video, very informative and easy to follow instructions. What model deployant buckle fits the Radiomir 8 days PAM00190?

That watch will use a 22mm deployant buckle. There are a few versions that would work.

Perfect “how to” instructional. I wish that everyone doing these types of videos would speak so clearly, be so well organized, and have such stellar camera work. Thank you!

Hey Elizabeth, very nice DIY. I have the new 2024 folding buckle on my PAM01424. This one is different from yours. It has no screw. Do you have an idea how to change this buckle?

I lost the small screw which holds the buckle. Do you know where I can order it? I see a lot of screws on the internet when I google it, but can't seem to find the right one? Thank you! And thank you for this good video!

Hi Dietmar, your best bet would be to contact a Panerai boutique or authorized dealer. They should be able to help!
@davem88367 ай бұрын
This is *not* how it's done. Remove the "Panerai" clasp from the buckle via the little spring bar on the clasp. Then position the clasp on the strap where you want it. Now, reattach the clasp to the buckle. If you were meant to try and muscle the strap through the clasp, there wouldn't be the spring bar to remove it. Plus, you'll rip your strap to shreds trying to force it through the clasp. Comprende?

Nice demo..what’s the maximum thickness of the long end strap that can pass thru..
@WatchesbyOliverSmithJeweler5 жыл бұрын
HL thank you! The maximum thickness is 2mm in order for it to fit a Panerai deployment buckle. A normal Panerai BA strap won’t fit as it is 4mm. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Tqvm for the info..that explain y the strap is much thinner on the tapered side..❤️

Thanks for the video. One question please, what’s the reference for the strap? I would like to apply it to my Luminor Marina PAM 104, would it fit? Thanks Mattia
@WatchesbyOliverSmithJeweler3 жыл бұрын
The Panerai reference # for this strap is MX003F1J. It is a 24/22 size that can fit on a 44mm Luminor or 45mm Radiomir -Elizabeth

I have a PAM114 base 2014, would this buckle fit?
@ilovegoodnugz3 жыл бұрын
Does this work with standard Panerai straps or specially designed thinner straps?
@WatchesbyOliverSmithJeweler3 жыл бұрын
You do need a specific BDR/Folding buckle strap to fit with this buckle

Doesn’t the clasp dig into your wrist?
@WatchesbyOliverSmithJeweler4 жыл бұрын
No I have never heard of our seen that issue, unless the strap is too tight overall. The buckle curves nicely to the wrist. -Elizabeth

Not a great design as getting any size strap through is tough, reason the video was paused at that point..
@RickGrossmanAttorney Жыл бұрын
It was quite obvious that she was unable to push the strap through the slot without the assistance of others. It is incredibly difficult to push the strap through the opening without tearing the strap. Why you cannot disassemble this part of the clasp place the strap in and close the clasp is beyond me.
@6golfview2 жыл бұрын
Sorry but you cant squeeze the strap through that gap without poking through the pin on the buckle first
@sardendibs Жыл бұрын
Poor design of the "teeth" part. Very difficult to fit the strap back in. Omega, Certina, Breitling - even 20$ ebay deployants - do this much better and allow for thicker straps to be used.
