I was extremely lucky to buy one of these about two years ago…. it’s a spectacular piece! When I took it to Omega official dealer to verify authenticity, the store manager went crazy about it and placed a considerable offer….. which I obviously rejected.

Looks like someone went a bit aggressive on the brush finishing on that second middle link. But beautiful watch.

You mean it's finished poorly. Yes it is.

@roybatty4687 yes someone used a buffer that was way too coarse on it, they've tried to make the brush finish with the correct grain direction but they've put scratches in that direction instead, that link needs to be polished out and refinished again by someone who knows how to do it properly. Brush finish is the hardest part of watch polishing, getting the finish the same appearance as it was originally, keeping the brush grain direction correct, and also keeping the finish consistent in appearance everywhere it is supposed to be on the case and bracelet links. I have two watches that have both brushed and shiny polished faces (an Omega Planet Ocean and a Breitling Superocean) I wouldn't let anyone do any polishing on them unless I was sure they knew what they were doing, I just had my Superocean fully serviced by a watchmaker but I asked him not to do any polishing even though it does need some polishing, I'll send it off to elsewhere to get it polished at a later date.
