Dunlaing from Ireland, definitely should be on this list. Interesting to hear the word “only” in front of $900 statement

Very well presented Chris and some great choice British brands. Looking at the options I would have a lot of trouble picking just one without at least trying them on and it's great that you make it clear on not only the watches that you have seen or tried but for how long as well. From a quick pick one watch just ever so slightly nudges my itch would be the Vertex Dirty Dozen by a hair. When I can justify one I might just try and see what it's like on my wrist and possibly make a purchase.

Love Farer. Have a Crooms II GMT and a Tonneau London. The moonphases are a fantastic watch for the money, too. Of the others, and a very different aesthetic, I think Vertex with their military watches are excellent. Super legible, with a clear line drawn back to their ancestors! Really well made too.

I love Farer and own a couple. I really like the Fears Redcliff - super clean. The Studio Underdog watches are great too, and refreshingly fun. We're definitely spoiled for choice right now with British watches, and it's amazing!

Scurfa are my favourite British Microbrand, but all all these mentioned are doing good things imo.

I love Farer. My latest watch was a Farer GMT BANZARE. I also like what Studio Underdog are doing, especially the Goofy Panda.

I recently ordered a Clemence Munro which is assembled in Britain & is a homage to the Dirty Dozen watches. From the reviews that I have seen it looks like an amazing watch. You might want to check it out.

No Smiths? Excellent British brand, still in British ownership, making watches inspired by historic British military watches (amongst others). I don't think many people are aware of the history of Smith's. Sir Edmund Hillary wore one on the first summit of Everest, he confirmed it wasn't a Rolex and Rolex acknowledged this in the press at the time. They survived the quartz crisis, before shifting into avionics and inventing control systems for Concorde and later designing avionics for the Euro fighter. Smiths remains one of the most successful British companies in history, and in recent times sold the branding rights for watches to a former British soldier. They began remanufacturing the famous W10, with ETA and other swiss movements, and then later started to design their own models. They sell very well made 300m divers with Swiss movements for around £500. They're not as impossible to buy as the internet would have you believe either.

Great video! I can't help but stare at your Vintage Smiths timepiece. It is by far the most beautiful among other watches in this video. Also, it seems to be in really good condition! Do you mind sharing its name, specs and, maybe where did your wife got it from :)

Studio underdog lost alot of respect from myself and many in the community when they sold out with the recent mosier collab
@giorgosvasillios93943 ай бұрын
How did they sold out tho?
@mcody683 ай бұрын
Definitely not sold out. It was a genius move from them to partner with Moser. OK, so the watch won’t be affordable for most of us but it’s created a significant amount of hype about the brand and creates an epic foundation for the new 03 series coming soon.

I would have to say this latest release from studio underdog I don’t like it at all. I don’t like the color scheme. I don’t like the way it looks. It’s just me. I don’t like it.

Christopher Ward is the one that steals ideals from everyone else. All you have to do is look at their brands. Look at their watches and you’ll see indices from Zane. You’ll see movements from tag you’ll see you know pallets from a numerous of other people have zero respect for Christopher Ward. I think they’re watches are ugly, the next two years they’re not gonna be worth 500 bucks
