Zach, don't worry, it's not weird. I grew up eating this dish, and when I was a 1st cook at Amica, not only did almost everyone look forward to it on the menu, I think I converted many. When you live in an era where you must make do with what you have, then you understand. 😉 Yours looks delicious!
