I'm an old Star Wars nerd. Literally. I got hooked as an 8 year old when I saw A New Hope at a drive in theater with my Mom in 1977. I've seen this before but for the first time, it made me fall apart. My best friend of 20 years is not doing well she has a fatal illness. She knows I'm a big Star Wars fan. She surprised me awhile back by giving me a Millennium Falcon that someone had left behind in her garage. I had one when I was a kid, pretty awesome. She showed up and my jaw hit the floor. It was actually the 2008 Legacy Falcon. Its almost twice the size of the original. It was done right. It's friking huge and I'm restoring it to its former glory. May the Force Be with You All.

Han Solo was such a iconic character in the original trilogy, I was shocked when he was killed in TFA and almost teared up when he appeared in TROS. But seeing Chewie all sad....broke my heart

Wow, I thought it was going to be done at "Chewie we're home", but HFP hits you with that last glorious rollercoaster drop and peak. Solo, unfortunately suffered the backlash to Di$ney-Luca$film's mismanagement from, and following, TLJ. The film itself suffered from some bad decisions from mainly one person, but still was a passable Star Wars film despite some flaws, (but that's just my opinion).

Star Wars has become known for its character progression. Anakin throughout the originals, Ahsoka in The Clone Wars, Kylo in the Skywalker saga, but Han is always overlooked. The Solo movie is HIGHLY underrated because it gives us insight into how Han became the know it all, best pilot in the galaxy mercenary. He is someone who starts with nothing which is why he places value in what he has during the original trilogy. He loses Qira which is why he is so quick to push away Leia even though his feelings are obvious. Han Solo goes from selfish child, to selfish adult, to someone who gives his life for a cause greater than himself. Star Wars is the greatest franchise ever made and if you think otherwise, you haven't really watched.

They need to drop this debacle of a trilogy! If you couldn’t even put any effort into making Star Wars movies DISNEY! And not just think us fans are going to just be happy with getting movies! I’m still in such confusion on how you would make a trilogy, and knowing it’s a trilogy from the start! Why wouldn’t there be an outline that the directors and writers had to fallow! Movie making 101 ! Thy say there are 3 acts to a movie. So in a trilogy you kinda make the first movie act 1, 2nd movie act 2 and the 3rd movie the 3rd act! And of course each movie should have a start and ending that is satisfying enough but keeping it open for the next movie! P.s. I loved solo! I’m a huge fan of origin stories and Han meeting chowie was awesome! In the same way that the prequels were great because sense I seen the original trilogy my biggest question was how did Vader become Vader? And the prequels were about just that! So I didn’t really look at them in a critical way. They were answering my biggest question! Anyway have a good one. Matt a.k.a. The Viking
