If there’s one thing that always made me upset about this movie, it was the one scene where he rang the bell again because of one specific moment… Despite the town moving at molasses pace, I’m almost positive they would’ve made it to the field and at least seen the ship cloak and take off…except the mayor, who is in front of the entire group, stopped them all for a few seconds to point out a damn penny in the road. here’s some fun facts because I’m not normal (and I’m so excited you folks are covering this movie) - unless i am mistaken, during the title sequence when ‘one little slip’ is playing and the name of the movie pops up, the road visible at the bottom of the screen that veers off to the bottom right is in fact the road to the school. He does a lap of the town square and ends up exactly where he starts, meanwhile the school bus disappears off down a side road next to the town hall that absolutely does not lead to the school. I have frame by frame analysed it yes, but also it’s easier if you just notice in the beginning when he does the original sky is falling bit, that he runs down from the school bell, and when the camera angle changes and he’s surrounded by reporters under there tree, he’s immediately in the same town square. - the names on the baseball sign up sheet are: Gordy Groundhog, Goaty Loaty, Doggy Woggy, Mousey Wousey, Catty Watty, Drakey Lakey and Bunny Wunny. - from paused frames of the newspaper articles, we can see that they tell time by moon cycles, and that the price of the paper is measured in acorns. which begs the question… what ARE the acorns? the only reason the aliens come by is because oakey oaks have the best acorns in the solar system so you’d assume that it’s food, and yet the only allusion to this is when foxy tips the bag of acorns out the bus window as an equivalent to like… trail mix maybe? the rest of the food, like soda, popcorn, and tictacs are just human food. but the newspaper is paid for in acorns… but Runt uses a dollar bill to pay for the soda later ??? - also there is a sequel to this movie, but it;s not a movie, it’s a video game that features the original VAs, including yes, AGAIN, adam west. - and originally the movie was going to be about a girl chicken that was going to overcome her anxieties in a school (?) camp run by sheep that were secretly wolves and that was the main conflict but the execs decided it wouldn’t sell. - this was also the first 3D (glasses) movie in cinemas and is featured for this in the guinness world book of records.

Chicken Little was depicted as a girl in the original draft, but was changed into a boy just because the higher ups thought that an animated movie with a girl as a main protagonist wouldn't make a lot of money and appeal to boys. As for the story, the plot would have been about Chicken Little going to summer camp and meeting the same friends from the final film. However, there was a dark twist where the camp was run by wolves who disguise themselves as sheep and had a plan on fattening up the campers for a feast.
