I have to laugh a bit about the idea of Rory’s “backup schools” being Princeton and Yale. I don’t think that would’ve flown back then, but it *definitely* wouldn’t when I applied ten years ago. They’re in the same tier as Harvard. A real “backup” would be in a lower tier.

Sometimes schools of the same tier will have slightly different numbers year-to-year, so a person will get into one and not the other. But yeah it's weird she didn't consider Vassar or Wellesley or Dartmouth or anything like that.

Edward Hermann was a full cast member. Show runner Amy Sherman Palladino was a fan and never thought she'd be able to get him for the who. Special Apperance was her way of highlighting how big a deal it was that he agreed (though the majority of people didn't know this and so it caused and continues to cause confusion)

Omg that's crazy. Lorelei was NICE to Dean. Yes, she was a little suspect of him at first, but remember Christopher wasn't exactly around so she had to play the role of mom and dad, especially when it came to Rory dating. As Lorelei got to know him she treated Dean with respect ( probably more so than her own daughter).

I started watching this show because Emily was EXACTLY like my mother,and cable was cheaper than therapy.I'm a little like both Loralei's,but I rent my house. I'm happy to say that it actually helped.I was watching this with my best friend and she said,"Emily reminds me of your mom"...and after that,I was cured. I actually had three meals one Thanksgiving.If I did it again,I'd wear pants with an elastic waistband and blow off the stuffng.

Just finished the Festival of Living Pictures and the "older" guitar player is Sebastian Bach who was the front man for Skid Row!!!Back in the day he was an "it" boy. .that's where the joke was. My favorite episode is when Luke and Lorelae break up and the entire town takes sides wearing pink bows for Lorelae and blue for Luke.Your lack of knowledge will serve you well if you walk through this one.

Honestly, I never cared much for Luke; I'm on board with the Dean/Lorelai combo! LOL Before everyone hates on me, Luke is too much of a hot head for my taste. He's always negative and bringing Lorelai down. There are some legit relationship issues there.
