As for what's up with Loki's knives, it's cause Loki is a mama's boy. In Asgard culture magic and dagger play is considered women's work while real men fight like Thor. Loki spent all his time learning how to fight and do spells with his mom. The "I didn't do it for him" line was significant because he didn't nearly died for his father, he did it to get revenge for his mommy.

This movie was amazing. I hate when people say “this movie was too funny” in a negative way. Like who goes “Wow I enjoyed that a lil too much. How dare Marvel”. Being really funny ≠ not being serious enough. Hela. the relationship with Thor between Loki, Valkyrie, and Banner. Korg. Grand Master. Thor unleashing his full potential. The humor. Taika Watiti was an amazing director. This movie is definitely in the row top of my Marvel tier list.

i hate that cristism too especially because it's not as if the thor movies before had no humor thor one especially had a lot of humor in it even though it had some more dramatic moments thor works better when it has humor especially because loki is a trickster god and thor is really unrelatable if he takes himself too seriously (plus, he fits the fish out of water trope with in itself is humorous)

My favorite loki moments are in this film: #1: “I have been falling for 30 minutes” 2: very close to tied: “your savior is here” 3: “now you know how it feels” Tom hiddleston oozes charm and charisma in this role. He also plays him with nuance as well. Without these things, Loki would be a hatable character.

The "What If" series is really great!! Probably best to watch after you're done with the movies it's very fast paced and relies a fair bit on us being familar with the MCU generally. Oh yeah before I forget the character that Jeff goldblum is playing grandmaster he's an elder of the universe. he belongs to an order of beings that are immortal and given the power primordial. They're all survivors of their species like they're the last ones in existence. Definitely we met one of the other elders in guardians of the Galaxy The collector. the names that each one has is a significant meaning to their type of hobby like The collector. He likes to basically collect rare and obscure things. The grandmaster is about games In the comics no one really knows how many members are part this particular group because we were only introduced to if I remember correctly like 12 members of the group but there's more members they're out there that we don't know of yet this is in the comics.

Loved your reaction! This was honestly the only Thor movie where I could still remember everything that happened, even though it's been years. I can barely remember Thor 2, and maybe just 40% of Thor 1.

When I went to Disneyland, I got to see the costumes for this movie. They were on display as a promotion for the movie right before it came out. I tell you what. Hella’s outfit is tiny! She has amazing huge presence in the movie and in real life, she’s skinny little lady. Also this movie, is the most amazing movie ever! And the actress of Gladeriel in Lord of the rings is crazy awesome as Hella.

Thor is the strongest avenger because that dude literally kicks Galactus's ass later on. And then they team up because Galactus needs Thor help. Thors so strong that one of the strongest dudes in the universe needs his help to beat someone else. Thor is deffo the strongest.

The strongest avenger is Wanda because her powers are literally sourced from an infinity stone Edit: there’s a whole god damn debate in my comments 😂

So technically Vision's stronger, same stone gave him his powers except that he had the stone, he used it. And also having a body made out of vibranium is a pretty strong advantage.

Wanda is a literal glass cannon. She’s got a ton of raw power but it wouldn’t take much to break her.

Wanda is straight up the Scarlet Witch, that's why she's the strongest. Wandavision explains it well.

@@Jo.Jo.222 Shocked by Hawkeye. Out cold for minutes. Sound cannon immediately renders her useless. Knock on the head from behind. Disoriented with knife at throat. Thanos' ship laser explosion knocks her away.

this one is one of my top favorite marvel movies. which is surprising considering the other two Thor movies aren’t in my top list, (however i do love Thor himself), but it was just so funny, the delivery of the dialogue was just perfect and Bruce and Thor together are great. Thor paired with anyone, honestly, is hilarious. Dr. Strange’s interaction was great, i wanted more! i cant wait to see Thor with the guardians since he’s chilling with them now. i already love his dynamic with Peter Quill, so i expect to laugh a ton… also Korg fills me with happiness.

I love the sly commentary on imperialism/colonization, & needing to destroy the broken foundations it was built upon to build something new & better without the scars of those bad foundations.

According to producer Kevin Feige, the spaceship seen in the mid-credits scene is the Sanctuary II, which belongs to *Thanos.*

Have you ever seen Flash Gordon? Because this film is a carefully crafted love letter to Flash Gordon. Like, there's scenes in this that are made to specifically mimic scenes from Flash Gordon, and the tone of humour is very much drawn from it too. Taika Watiti literally sat down all the cast and crew, made them watch Flash Gordon, and said this is what we're going for.

This was definitely worth the wait! As for the “What If” series, I’ve really enjoyed it so far! It’s cool to see other versions of the same storylines and how they differ depending on one change. I recommend watching it!

Billy, since ya mentioned reacting to Deadpool, I'd really love to see your react to Birds of Prey sometime! It gets flack from some people for "copying Deadpool's style" cause Harley Quinn breaks the fourth wall in it too (and it came out after the Deadpool movie), but like out of the two of them she was the one who started breaking the fourth wall first (in 1994), so I don't think it's a very valid criticism lol #bingers
