You should watch Urban Legend from 1998. It was part of the slew of Scream imitators, but it's so camp. Rebecca Gayheart (she's one of the sorority sisters in Scream 2) is an icon. Also, Loretta Devine..... And Tara Reid.

I love this entire movie. It's my favorite one out of the Scream franchise. I have a lot of favorite scenes but one of the scenes that's up there is the opening scene. I love how they're shading their own movies and I actually was shocked that it wasn't the opening for "Scream" It was just the openings for the Stab movies which I enjoyed. It's funny when I actually believed it was the Real opening scene. It will forever be a memorable opening scene and probably one of my favorites.

When you were feeling bad for Charlie, I was like "Don't feel bad for that jackass! Give it a few minutes, you'll see!" And I'm so glad that you didn't see the Jill reveal coming at all. It was such a big twist and I remember seeing this in theaters and people blurting out "What?!" It's my favorite part about seeing people react to this one. And yes, you got to give Jill credit - she was committed to making it look believable, lol. As for Kirby, Wes Craven always said that since we don't see her actually die, in his mind, she survived. So you can always take that as law, I know I do! Cheers to Sidney for having such iconic lines in these movies! I can't wait for you to see the fifth one - I know it's still in theaters and it was fun to see that way (I loved it!) but I won't lie, I'm hoping we get to see you react to it since I hear it's going digital on March 1st. But if you see it in theaters, I hope you make a video to let us know what you think!

Hahaha I watched this the wrong way round..this one popped up on my feed first so I went 4 then 1, 2, and 3. Your reactions are priceless! I remember watching the first Scream at a sleepover when I was 11…IT SCARED THE ABSOLUTE SHIT OUT OF ME!! (Also for a reference my family home was very similar to Drew Barrymore’s soooo that cut to close to home so to speak lol.) Also fun fact in Scream 1 it was the first time in any movie a big note A lister actor was killed off in the first 15mins which was considered so crazy for the time. I’d have to say the original is still my favourite. Just the sheer sinister movements of ghost face always get me! Climbing down off the toilet- I can’t even!!! BUT The police faaarrking a inflatable wacky arm man could save more lives in those movies then the whole police force! You are 100% on the money if I was Syd I’d seriously go get marine trained up, and the next time some twink wants to start shit, I’d wipe them and their whole blood line off the planet 😂😂😂. YOU definitely need to watch Final Girl it’s a horror parody movie which is really cool that literally explains the rules of a horror movie. ALSO WATCH SILENCE OF THE LAMBS!! It’s utterly brilliant, THE BONE COLLECTOR, the Amityville Horror- the Ryan Reynolds’s one, Texas Chainsaw massacre, don’t waste time with Halloween or Friday 13….the originals are ok but (and I know controversial) I’ve never rated them - I don’t like killers that can’t be killed, it really pisses me off, and the sequels are rubbish! I just realized Gail saying “how does Jill know about the shoulder”. kinda doesn’t make sense in regards to the comment she made to Dewey earlier in the movie about how the whole town knew about the murders already. especially when she was stabbed in front of a bunch of people at a huge party. I’m pretty sure it would have been the talk of the group seeing as they threw the party and were huge fans.

The news covered Gail being attacked. Not the specifics of being stabbed in the shoulder. Pretty sure Gail and Jill were attacked the same night. Jill couldn’t have had the time to find out the details

She doesn't even say more and we can also assume Dewey got a big brain moment and learned his lesson from other times, when Gale told him about it he had a hunch and quickly think about how it could have been all a trick from Jill.

To be fair, Gale didn't solve anything. Everytime she started to get close to something, she got captured by the killer. Especially the second one, she barely learned anything, and the third was a trap, lol. Compared to Dewey, who killed the third movie killer.

AND she was also the one who figured out the matching wound thing first so she solved something at least. i love dewey but gale definitely did more than him imo

To be fair no character know who are the killer until it's reveled to us, the audience. Of the big three, Gale main character motivation in all of the movies is to find out who the killer is and spot them, and she's the one who takes more direct actions to do so. Okay, so it’s been _many_ years, thus, I very well may be misremembering. However, I do vaguely recall hearing that Wes Craven (and perhaps Anthony Anderson, who played Perkins) did the research and after being stabbed in the forehead, like he was, you actually would be to go ahead and move around and talk for a few seconds before succumbing to your injuries. Though you’re 100% correct in that it does seem _extremely_ unlikely/unrealistic! 🤷🏼
