REALLY COOL FUN FACT ABOUT THAT LEGO SCENE: it was done by a 14 year old named Preston Mutanga! If I remember correctly, he’d made a Lego version of the og trailer for ITSV and one of the creators saw it and was so impressed he brought him on board to animate the sequence for ATSV! Miles deserves all the love in the world. Years ago many people hated him (and still do) because they can't bring themselves to 1. See pass the fact that he is Black and 2. See that he is not just another Peter Parker. The writers for this incredible trilogy did him justice in giving him an amazing story while also showcasing how dope and unique he is. One of my favorite characters in fiction EVER.
@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Жыл бұрын
JJBizzare some people don't like him because he simply wasn't that interesting. Or really that different from Peter Parker. I liked a couple of his stories from the Ultimate universe but it was a downgrade from the beloved Ultimate Spider-Man Peter series which was good throughout. He did have some things that stuck with me like his relationship with Peter's supporting cast at first, his Hydra girlfriend, Ganke and the idea of Uncle Aaron being just an opportunistic guy who used him for crime. But I bet all of these miles "fans" have never read a single comic with him. Obviously the Spider-Men Ultimate and 616 crossover was amazing.
@ZoeViola5353 Жыл бұрын
And the fact that the writers proved the haters wrong by making Miles fight an army of spider-people. It was great!!

@@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Lol so you're saying I gotta do all this shit and meet all these terms and conditions.. _to hate a character?_ Dunno. Seems a lotta work to justify "dislike." We like the character Miles _in this movie._ How hard is that to understand. *I* understand having bias due to prior knowledge from the source material. But I ALSO understand how movie adaptataions change things up a bit, for better or for worse. And in this case, clearly for the better because people loved it regardless. There are literally even comic book fans who adore this movie!! So it's less of an "us people who haven't read a lick of the comics" and more of a _you_ problem.
@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Жыл бұрын
@user-pt5cl2ro6f you're actually a moron. You can feel however you want but when you non comic readers take over the Fandom and pretend you know everything THEN GET ANGRY AT ME, we have a problem. The original poster basically called comic fans racist so I'm providing an accurate assessment. He WAS another Peter Parker in the comics and that's why people didn't care about him. Those that hated him may have been racist. I love these movies and as I said I love some of his comics and I love his supporting cast of Ganke (even though he's not really in the movies. The MCU Ned is basically him)
@leafyishereisdumbnameakath4259 Жыл бұрын
@user-pt5cl2ro6f it's not terms and conditions. Most people these days cannot justify why they like or dislike something they have watched or read. You'd know what "explaining yourself" is if you stayed in school and didn't get raised on getting angry on Twitter and tiktok

The way I literally said "wtf are they making a sequel for? what more is there to say?" only for the movie to blow my mind like this and make me ACHE for the next one. They really blew it out of the water. Proof that putting in the love and time makes truly great art. It's really a shame animation isn't valued the way it deserves to be in our society. Especially the whole mindset that it's only for kids is so silly because if we were to truly treat it as just another medium of storytelling we could make way for some amazing things. Imagine an R-rated movie that can explore more adult themes, include things like heavy violence and blood and swearing etc but ALSO have stunning animation under its belt? So many adult cartoons are made mindless because the producers don't take advantage of the medium. Animation is so versatile, and always asking the question: what MORE can I do with this story?

The reason I hate Gwen and like miguel is simple. Gwen is usually always the cool one. Except for the opening scene which almost fixed everything I disliked about the character. Miguel constantly gets made fun if throughout the movie by his AI and others so that's why I like him better. In both movies, Gwen is never really treated like this. But I don't speak for anyone, this is personal opinion. I am so glad we got the spider gwen origin, I love her in the comics and her world and how unique it looks. I loved her fight with the vulture. And that we got to see her vulnerable for once (in the comics from my recollection, she isn't cool and laid back, she's fun and she isn't a loner, she is in a band called the Mary Janes)

I got into Spider-Man in general with Tom Holland's SM in Homecoming, but after seeing MIles in ITSV, he's my favorite Spider-Man and by far the one I relate to the most. That scene where his dad is at the door talking to him while he's tied up makes me cry every single time, and I cried like 3 times in ATSV because the way he interacts with and cares about his family feels so genuine (and I've had the exact same conversations with my parents, to the letter). I loved how they went heavy on the references in this one but not to the point that it felt corny, and every plot point actually has a valid reason to be there - it's not just story for story's sake. And the way the studio pushes the boundaries of animation every time is just *chef's kiss*. I can't wait for the next one!

I have to mention something. SPOILERS AHEAD If Miguel says Miles is an "anomaly." Then how does Miguel not have spider senses. Here's an example: Ghost face. I know this is an unfair match, but if any other Spider-Man can sense danger from behind, they have a chance of beating Ghost face and not be unalived. I say Miguel would have a 50/50 here. Without spider senses, I say it would be difficult to know when Miguel doesn't know he'll be attacked. But Miguel would escape, but it would be a struggle.

Every rule has their loopholes. Small breaches that can either be fixed or simply do not cause big enough damage. The Spider still bit a Miles, Miles became the single Spider-Man from that universe, captain Stacey wasn't close to Gwen, so he could retire safely, and it's possible Miguel's daughter was the one meant become Spider-Girl, but Miguel kept her from experiencing her "Uncle Ben moment". As for Earth 42, maybe the story simply got delayed.

I love the fact that they had such great attention to detail when they showed the spider not being from Miles original universe, but it fell out of the universe right behind miles Moralez( the one with the cornrows)

Something I NEVER saw someone say about this movie yet, even people who can pause it as they watch, is that on the flashback where Miguel destroys that universe, you can see a Peter Parker Spiderman is there with him. Miguel is obviously always on the center of the frame and Peter is always on the corner, but he IS there with him at that time. Now I have 2 theories, either Miguel was supposed to be that Peter’s uncle Ben and that’s what he considers the anomaly, or that peter is the one we know, Peter B. Parker, which implies a deeper level of trust they once had if he’s the person Miguel calls when his world literally falls apart. We know that’s not the case anymore since we see those people are now Jessica and Ben at the end of the movie, giving this movie even more layers as we see them have this fractured relationship (hypothetically I guess, we’ll have to wait for the next one to know for sure)

The movie is a work of art, it's definitely THE BEST ANIMATION MOVIE i've ever watched. It's been a week since i've seen it but i still have goosebumps. Sony knows how to get this job done👌

24:38 It's definitely not just you, when I was coming out to my parents that's practically what the conversation went like leading up to "the big moment", and so was it for many of my friends who came out.

The fact that I predicted that Killometer Immorales of earth 42 would show up a few seconds before my sister caught on when we were in the theater was so cathartic. My face literally dropped. My sister was confused why I was looking like that until the reveal. I WILL LITERALLY NEVER BE ABLE TO RECREATE THAT MOMENT. It was amazing.

I was totally mindblown by this movie. I was expecting a quarter decent sequel of a movie I mean seriously. If this movie doesn't win oscar or something, I'll be upset. This is better than the first movie, here's hoping for an even more mind blowing part two of thus sequel.

22:57 Stan Lee said it himself, the reason he loves Spiderman is because ANYBODY! Can be behind the mask. So for people to against what SPIDER-MAN’S CREATOR says..it just means they don’t respect Spiderman as what he’s about

Hobbie made his own watch, told Miles to make his own watch which tells me he believes Miles can do so also and he knew Gwen would need the watch later. Hobbie rocks.
