Awe I’m so sorry my friend. That is really tough. I’ll be praying for you and yours. I pray insurance takes care of all your needs, and he is really responsive towards medications. I’ll also be praying for your strength during all this. My grandpa got under 6mos to live, he will die of sepsis. It’s heartbreaking and hard. He’s in a lot of pain. But watching someone degrade is so painful and hard.

Only thing I can come up with is less names to remember or if he slips up “no I just said our daughter’s name instead of yours.” My partner has called me my daughter’s name on accident before, I call her sister her name sometimes on accident. Yep. My dad asked if he could name their first child. Mom: Yes, he named me after the woman he almost married. I think Dad cheated on her and she dumped him. A few years later he met my mom and they got married pretty fast. My grandma was the one who told Mom. Mom hated my grandma forever after that. She hated the wrong person.

My old roommate's ex faked his death to get away from her. His family and friends played their part, they posted an obituary in the paper and held a celebration of life for him. Living with her, I wasn't surprised. She wasn't just bat sh*t crazy, she actually looked like a bat. She stole the copy of the portfolio my best friend gave me, that he used when he was a model. She stole personal pictures of mine, along with letters from my boyfriend and friends who moved away, newspaper articles I kept that had no significance to her, and she stole my underwear and lingerie. When I confrontated her, she took off and came back with a fake eviction notice for me from "our landlord". We lived in a basement suite and our landlord lived upstairs, I called him to come have a chat, I thought it was hilarious but he wasn't the slightest bit amused; that was the final straw for him, he went upstairs and wrote her an eviction notice. Life was great once she left.

My first daughter I had been in labor 18hrs, as I slept husband filled out birth certificate, when it came in he put it behind flowers on the shelf and went outside. A nurse actually saw this and came back and gave it to me because it didn’t have my signature. The first name was an ex gf and the middle name was another ex gf. I put in the name I wanted and signed, I sent it to records to be certified then got a shot for pain. When certificate came back from medical records department certified, his parents came in and saw it and were calling her by the name I had given. The look on his face was priceless, OK HE WAS MAD AF!! I filed for divorce within 6months. (?) Did anyone else want to close the window on the psycho ex when her arms and phone came in. It’s unlawful entry.

I had a stalker. He was ruining my life. Gay friends convinced me to hide in their community They said he would never look for me there and if he did he would think oh forget that. I was very safe there for 2 years. I was glad I did it. He did find me after I moved out and needed to finish school out of the area. He was still searching for me while I was on my honeymoon. I know he has lost track of me now because I moved a long distance away and it's been many many years but having someone like that is quite frightening The only thing I had to do was they warned me don't let anybody in the community know that you're straight I wasn't dating anyway I was too scared to after what I was going through so it was a nice peaceful time and I could focus on work and school. I could also get to know people that normally won't show you the truth of their life because they don't trust outsiders. It was sad it was the beginning of the AIDS epidemic most of the people I knew were gone within about 5 years including my dear friend. I I had grown up with him through high school and we'd even work together I've gotten him a job at the hospital I worked at.

My cousin’s ex took her kids while she was on a vacation in Mexico & refused to give them back. They had been broken up for 6 years & co-parented amicably. Even down to him agreeing to pay child support without a court order. Skip to 2018 & she starts dating a guy & his parents moved to mexico when they retired. She gets engaged in 2020, in Mexico, the trip they took together where she was meeting his parents. Comes back to Canada engaged, ex is pissed. 2021, shes in mexico w/ fiancee, visiting in laws. Kids had a week off of school, they went to dads, then were supposed to go to grandmas while she quarantined upon return (cause c-vidI9). He gets a lawyer to draft papers requesting that she sign over custody of her kids to her ex. Remember she’s in mexico on vacation. It took a court order after 68 days (cause canada) for her to get her kids for a weekend. He almost refused to let her see her kids cause he claimed he was too busy to drop them off cause his family was visiting. Skip ahead to Aug 2023, at a custody trial, the judge finally grants her custody & returns her kids back to her. Yesterday she finally got an order for court ordered child support. In the meantime, he has only fought for custody of their son. They also have a daughter. He openly says he only cares about the son. He’s jealous of her fiancee & has made it abundantly clear that no other man is welcome in his son’s life. Her ex his literal breathing garbage.

My dad was a self-proclaimed 'lothario' and deadass named his daughters after his exes, which is how my half-sisters got their names. He wanted so bad to name me Suki when I was born, thinking my mum didn't know that was his ex but she veto'd that shit so hard. This entire video reminds me of my ex gf from the early 90s. The most beautiful, hawtest Scorpio you'd ever want to date. Also the craziest. This is the girl who, if you didn't respond to a vm immediately, would call and FILL your answering machine with crying, psychotic messages. Things came to a head when i broke off with her and she as per usual, left countless vm's i refused to respond to, and she showed up at my porch, in my VERY quiet neighborhood, at 3 am. She stood/sat/sprawled on my stoop for HOURS, threatening to use a boxcutter on herself if i didn't talk to her. Haven't seen him in 10+ yrs. Had a friend whose son was taken advantage of in college...the ex gf drove up to his college to see him, knowing he had moved on. She got him impaired and took advantage of the situation. Well, she wound up pregnant thinking she could get him back. Usually its more collaborative... until one partner brings up a name they have an EMOTIONAL bonding to and desire to use it BECAUSE of that tie to their emotions. IDK why your ex was so attached to the name of a COWORKER that he was stuck on it, but couldn't provide more of a reason than, I assume, generic "I like it" statements? I would assume if he HAD a good reason that explained the ties to the name, he'd have told you to make his argument stronger. He never knew, and for the love of God, I tried to forget. My father was a horrible man and father. He did have extreme PTSD from WWII. Very extremely abusive. My poor mommy 😢. He wanted my name to be Cindy, not Cynthia, after one of the many flings he had. My momma didn’t find out for a while, but it must have been very hard for her. Being Cindy and not Cynthia gave me a lifetime in school of being reprimanded of not putting my “real” name on all tests. I always told them I was not Cynthia, but Cindy. Life is not exactly easy when you know your father is a cheater, and everyone knows it. I found out at 6-7, he had a secret family. I’m 62, and I know I have at least 1, but from what I’ve heard, more likely 2 brothers in Sweden (I’m from Jersey). I never even thought about searching until my beautiful momma died, but maybe it’s best I don’t know. I absolutely know about 1 because I was with my mommy when she searched the trunk of his car after he went to bed. My mommy was the sweetest, most kind gentle person you would ever know. But that night 😂, she took her old 14” cast iron skillet and smashed his new Cadillac up beyond recognition 🥳🎊🎉. He loved that car more than anything he could love in life. He deserved that and so much more 😂. Plus my mom was 38 when she had me, and his mistress was 18. My sister was her age, may God rest her soul as well 😢😔. My boyfriend of 1.5 years just passed away on April 30th. I WISH there was a way I could communicate with him! I know it's not good to isolate yourself. Sometimes I talk to his friends because I know they're upset about his passing, too. I feel so lost without him. Sleeping in an empty bed sucks! At least I have a voice recording of him in a little stuffed elephant (elephants are one of my favorite animals), and he just says, "Hi baby. It's Dean. I love you." It's mildly comforting, but it would be better if he was here. He was an alcoholic, but he wasn't physically abusive. It was so hard watching him gasp for air the night before he passed. It's even harder knowing that he was scheduled for a liver transplant consultation just a couple days before he passed. I was so hopeful, but now I'm just deeply depressed. I tried to do everything he asked me to do. He taught me so much, and I tried to get him to talk to me about his war PTSD, which he did talk to me about, but it always made him cry. I just wish he was still here to talk to! ❤
