It’s awesome to see you both playing marvel dice throne :) love the game There’s one hiccup in the playthrough though. Every time you retrieve the mjolnir you get an elctrokinesis token. There are some times you both could’ve used all the rerolls before spending a card to change the dice, which could save you the card and the CP. Regardless of it, awesome game :)

I never thought to pickup this game, but after watching the playthrough, I'm actually eager to give it a try. I like all the different actions you can perform and how the two characters are structured differently. Can't wait to try this at my next board game night! Thanks for the vid :)

Great playthrough! I really liked how, before you activated your attacks, you both would ask whether your opponent was going to modify your dice roll. I've watched many Dice Throne playthroughs online, and that's something that some players forget to do. It seems like a small thing, but it's actually a really big part of the game. Really enjoyed this video! 😊

At 22:36, Naveen said he was working towards Mighty Summon II, but then proceed to carry out the effects without actually rolling another 4/5 (Worthy).

Looks like a bit of a goof! He had re-rolls to take, but then they got into discussion about otions, and I think that distracted them from completing the re-rolls. Added a note to the Klingon subtitles.

I love how with characters like Loki, Dr Strange, etc, they are really innovating how each character can operate. The first set was almost all the same with minor variances. Now some characters are drastically different with how they play

Nice to see this match up and quite enjoyable to watch. When playing Thor, we must keep in mind “You may throw or retrieve Mjolnir at any time by discarding a card” to maximize combos

Hey, some questions/comments: 19:37: Why didn't Monique reroll first before playing "Twice as wild"? 22:19: Doesn't Naveen need another "Worthy" symbol for that? 41:31: Naveen said he retrieved his hammer when he actually coudn't (because it was already there) but instead throw it, right? 42:42: Is discrading a card to throw the hammer making it defendable damage? 45:58: Naveen did not pay for "Get that outta here". ^^ I really like the playthrough. I really want this game. :D

Sorry I haven’t been able to get back to you on these questions. Some did get addressed in the subtitles or other comments (the 22 min mark one). We had a hurricane go through my area so I don’t have power and re-watching videos isn’t easy without wifi right now.

19:37 up to the player. She can still reroll two more but chose not to. Advantage is if Naveen changes one of her dice, she still have two more rolls. :)

After watching Becca Scott play through all of the characters, including the expansions, that was the most I've ever seen the base attacks used in any game. I'd love to see someone do a count on how close Monique could have gotten if she'd just used the counter-attack defense. It'd be tough as you roll one more die, but I think it would have been really close to the point that if Naveen hadn't pulled that perfect roll off, you would have won. I do think that it is a little too dependent on getting the upgrade cards early while not having a lot of card draw abilities, but it is a very fun dice-chucking system.

42:22 dont think you can defend against an instant card when he threw hammer at you it wasn't a offensive roll attack it was only a card. even though it undefenable it was a separate attack....not offensive roll attack correct me if I'm wrong because if you could defend against any attack then th as t would mean status effects also like poisns ..burns ..exc

Have you played the Gunslinger vs Samurai box? My husband and I are new to Dice Throne and are still learning. I have only played as Gunslinger and he has beat me every time!

Just a sidenote, if it were his turn he could have spent electrokinesis as a response to the card had it been an instant action. Player turn takes priority.

Great video!!! But I think u guys did some things wrong on thor. When u use odins force u are suppose to discard the Electrokinesis to boost the attack as said on the token sheet. Also When u retrieve the hammer u gain a Electrokinesis. Which he never did.
