I've been watching this #CheapCamaro series and have been impressed about how you brought this beauty back to life. One thing I've noticed, or actually haven't noticed you doing is the the mod on the PCV system. If you don't do it you're going to find your now pristine clean heads all gunked-up with sludge again within about 30-40k miles. The GM 3.6 High Feature V6 are notorious for their heads gunking-up, which constricts oil flow and contributes to the timing chain / VVT / oil consumption issues. It's actually a simple mod where you enlarge the 3 holes on the PCV hose to valve cover connector (it looks like an old school PCV valve on the valve cover). While you're at it you might want to add a quality catch can to further aid in reducing the oil consumption issue. Look it up there are many tutorials for the mod online. Best of luck!

Nice sound, but it doesn't sound like a V10. A six cylinder has more degrees of crankshaft rotation per cylinder firing than a V10; therefore the optimal cylinder bank angle on a V6 would be 60 degrees or 120 degrees, whereas a V10 would be 72 degrees or 144 degrees. So it can't sound like one no matter what exhaust you install. But I like it!

This is your best project so far. Although, if the previous owner of the Camaro sees it he/she is gonna have a very bad day.

Ok, so I ran across your video and see the BT on the plate. My plate has a SG on it so we're neighbors. And then you pull out a name-drop like my boy Derek at VGG? OK, I'm subbing. We're not into the same kind of stuff exactly but this series with the Camaro is in my wheelhouse. I'm into stuff like Derek does and off-road stuff. To be fair, again, the Camaro series is the first videos of yours I've seen but I'll be checking you out. Thanks.

Did you ever modify the PCV which is what created the problem in the first place

As usual the best cars in the building are the mini coopers.

You gotta go ahead and do a cold air intake to complete it. A shame to not take it that next degree. You will love hearing the intake noise from the front to balance that knarley exhaust note from the rear.

I have the same exact car hoping to do the same exhaust system in a few days. Thanks for sharing😊 That actually looks like my 2010 Camaro. Mine is Silver also. Yours sound way better Lol😅

this was a good segment JR, like the gauge package upgrade, can never have enough gauges and the exhaust was a good touch also...this should make a great choice for someone wanting a Camaro and not needing all the HP and maybe someone who can grasp the need for routine maintenance unlike the previous owner of this car..I still can't wrap my head around that....lol

You need an amazon affiliates page to sell products you use. The car wizard has one. Consider getting one. All the different tools and products you have used fixing and modifying cars. Like the digital torque wrench and the makita impact drill. That drill looks like a necessary tool to work on cars.
