I have a few 1) The concept of Toy Story was originally going to be a Tin Toy Christmas special, based from the famed Pixar short Tin Toy 2) The creator of SpongeBob, Stephen Hillenburg, got the idea of the show from a comic he created when Rocko's Modern Life was cancelled 3) Bugs Bunny was named after artist Ben "Bugs" Hardaway, and Elmer Fudd was originally named Egghead 4) Walt Disney portrayed the voice of Mickey Mouse until 1947, meaning he was the first voice of the character 5) The Simpsons originally made their debut in The Tracey Ullman Show 6) Porky Pig wasn't originally voiced by Mel Blanc when he first debuted, he was voiced by Joe Daughtry 7) SpongeBob's original name was SpongeBoy 8) The reason why The Simpsons are yellow is because creator Matt Groening wanted the characters to be eye-catching 9) Darkwing Duck was originally going to be a Donald Duck spy cartoon and was named "Double-O Duck", but after discovering the name "Double-O" was copyrighted by the creator of James Bond, Ian Fleming, they scrapped the idea and turned the show into Darkwing Duck 10) The Lion King was animated by Disney's B-Team animation team because Disney's A-Team animation team was busy making Pocahontas because they thought it would be a bigger success than Lion King, but it was the opposite way around. BONUS) When Stan Lee and Steve Ditko were making Spider-Man comic books, Stan wanted to make Norman Osborn the Green Goblin, but Steve didn't want Osborn to be the Goblin. But when Ditko left, Stan got his way!

Humans are weird: -We eventually notice our own reflection 🤔 -We don't have any unique pattern like a tiger or a jaguar -We lack horns,feathers, and tails -It takes us months to properly walk instead of on all 4 -We have furless faces and small lips -We lack night vision -We lack armor protection like a turtle 🐢 or hermit crab 🦀 -We have tiny webbing between our fingers, that are useless today and are just pretty much just there -Our senses are just basic, our sense of smell isn't as great as a bloodhound or even better an elephant. Our sense of sight isn't at the same level of a hawk or owl Evolution has given humans 2 internal reactions: Fight or Flight Literally whenever we see a threat, humans have 3 choices: Fight and confront the situation, flee or run away from it Finally, just freeze during emergencies

Calories on stamps? The most amazing fact seems to be that Americans don't have self-adhesive postage stamps yet.
@Unknown179 ай бұрын
I know you wrote your comment a year ago, but I wanted to chime in. You were right to question whether a stamp "contains" calories. It does not. In fact, nothing contains calories--not food, and not anything else. A calorie is a unit of heat. It is a measurement, like degrees. When we say X food has X calories, it is a SHORTHAND, abbreviated way of saying that X units of heat were required to turn X portion of the substance into ash. The food (or stamp) does not contain calories, any more than a room contains degrees. (And BTW, we DO have self-adhesive stamps in the USA. I use them all the time.)
@Gmackematix9 ай бұрын
@@Unknown17I don't really follow that argument. "Has X calories" is just short for "has a calorific value of X", just like something has a length or has a temperature. That doesn't invalidate the meaning of calorie as a unit of heat given off when something is combusted. Surely they aren't referring to the whole stamp either, just the gum licked.
@Unknown179 ай бұрын
@@Gmackematix I think you really DO follow the argument. I merely wrote what I did because most people believe calories are a substance within what they are eating. As you and I have now both pointed out, saying a certain food has X calories IS a valid shorthand, but only if one understands that it IS shorthand. I don't believe that most people REALIZE it is a shorthand method and that food does not actually contain calories. I believe you and I are in agreement here.

1) Eagles and beavers are monogamous. 2) Contrary to popular belief, goldfish do not have a 3 second memory. Their memory is just as long as any other animal. 3) The planet Uranus orbits the sun on its side. 4) There is an asteroid in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter that is so big that it has globed due to it's gravity and is named Ceres. It is also classified as a dwarf planet the same as Pluto. 5) A ducks quack does echo. It is a myth that says it doesn't. 6) Brad Pitt is from Missouri and went to MU in Columbia Missouri. 7) Keanu Reeves was born in Beirut Lebanon. 8) Charlize Theron was born and raised in South Africa, making her African American. Her first language is Afrikaans. 9) A rats front teeth never stop growing. 10) Rats have an emotional range wider than that of a human. 11) The well known rebel flag was not the official flag of the Confederacy. It is actually a battle flag. 12) The poop emoji was intended to be chocolate ice cream when it was first created. 13) An AR-15 is no more powerful than a 9mm handgun, despite having a higher velocity due to a higher powder content in the bullet casing. 14) Even though it is sacred to many, the bible is one of the most violent books in the world. 15) The first ever message heard through a telephone was _"Mr. Watson--come here--I want to see you."_ said by Alexander Graham Bell. You can't tickle yourself.. EXCEPT for the fact that you can! If you touch your palate with the tip of your toungue and start moving it around it will give you a tickle sensation. Another interesting one, did you know that if you get pressed in a certain spot on your pelvis (on the sides, between your torso and legs) you might just start randomly laughing? Oh, and another one!! Pigs can't sweat, so in order to stay fresh they get mud baths, aaalso if they get stressed out enough, they tend to eat other pig's tails (that's why most people cut their tails off), also pigs are overly dramatic, they scream for anything. Aaaaaand If you think cats are evil, wait until you see a bunny out of a cage, they throw stuff just because, they eat whatever they have in front (paper, wood, fabric, plastic, literally whatever), they can steal things but they are extremelly inteligent and if done right, they can even learn commands, there's a tale about rabbits attacking and defeating Napoleon Bonaparte and his army. Bunnies are pure evil, adorable, lovely but pure evil (source, i had a bunny and can confirm that even Satan himself is afraid of them... Loved that fluffy demon with all my heart).
