My favourite ranger, is tommy the green ranger. Back in 2022 I woke and I found out Jason David frank committed suicide. I was shocked and sad to hear the news. He will be remembered as a legend.

This video literally had me in tears. I didn't know most of these guys passed away so soon, and i felt like my childhood took a huge hit. I had a chance to meet JDF a few times at the local card shop here in Mississippi and he was very humble and down to earth. RIP to all the fallen actors.

His voice carried over well. I was blown away when he was a voice actor for an episode of We Bare Bears as Silver Bear. The episode was called Imaginary Friend and it was obvious that he was supposed to be a tribute to the Power Rangers.

David Fielding the actor who visually portrayed Zordon also voiced him for most of the first season including the opening. Bob Manahan took over voicing Zordon through all his remaining appearances while the show continued using Fieldings face for the character

I met Jason David Frank October 30th at the San Antonio Big Texas comic con. 3 weeks before he passed away. He was so sweet he signed so many things for free. He even signed my sister's badge. His passing caused so much grief. He told me he hoped to see me next year and I can still hear those words. He was such a nice man I wish he knew people loved him.

I was a baby (only a few months old) at the time when Thuy Trang passed away. It was incredibly sad learning this years later but when I learned about Jason David Frank's death, I'll never forget the moment I first learned of his passing, and I was unable to watch any Power Rangers episodes he was in, and I'll never forget how cool he was and how he really seemed to care about the fans. I was more of a Green Ranger fan than a White Ranger fan, but he was lovely and kind, as was Thuy. I never met JDF, but I've heard both him and Thuy were so kind and just loving and caring and kind. Seeing the MMPR episode Welcome to Venus Island hits different since Tommy and Trini had to work together to save the other Rangers.

I got a notification that said in memory of jdf. I automatically said to myself " get that crap out of my face there is NO WAY that the man jason david frank passed away. I started watching Power Rangers when I was 4. I grew up on Tommy, Trini and Rita. Jason is going to b well missed just since he's appeared in just about all generation series. Thuy was on her way to a bridesmaid rehearsal for her friends wedding. Udonna had a very unique uniform as it looked kind of celtic.

Jason’s shock passing absolutely devastated me in November last year as his portrayal of Tommy Oliver will go down as one of my favourite iconic characters of my late nineties/early 2000s childhood since I can remember watching Mighty Morphin Season 2 (When Tommy returned as the White Ranger) and the 1995 movie on VHS when I was five years old back in 1999/2000 whilst also being a fan of Power Rangers In Space as little me thought that Tommy was a better leader than Andros. I even had the White Tigerzord action figure I got from my cousin as a Hand Me Down. I’ll never forget seeing and talking to Jason at Supanova in Sydney back in 2016 (when I had various problems with my mental health and autism spectrum disorder) and saying thanks for making my childhood so awesome. Jason’s passing hit me like a truck and upset me incredibly hard. Jason will be missed dearly…

I was emailing back and forth with JDF about 6 months before he passed. We literally talked for weeks. As a 37 yo, I watched early Power Rangers as a kid religiously. Had toys, the whole shabang. It was truly mind blowing to be talking to him, but that's just how he was. A regular person, that enjoyed people. He sent me a hand autographed 8×10 of his ranger debut kicking some butt in the woods. Our conversations are the true treasure though. Thank you JDF, see ya on the other side.💪
