Excellent detail to your review please may I ask would you still recommend this or is there another brand of the same price with better specs, so far I'm very impressed with the yacht version of this brand.

Wonderful review. I have the meteorite and dark green dials, both on silver steel and president-style bracelets. The Miyota movement does leave a bit to be desired, but the fit and finishing is second-to-none, especially in this price point. Very happy with my purchases, and would not have made them without seeing your review first. Thank you for the work you do in these reviews so the rest of us can spend our money wisely.

Apart from the material used (sure rolex only use gold and platinum for this model), this watch offers almost everything a day-date could offer. Picked one and really like it. The second version is equipped with screw-down crown and 100m of water resistance.

Just received my green dial variant of this watch. The dial looks absolutely STUNNING! I easily managed to get a good fit with the deployant clasp, despite some initial misgivings re this type of closure (the links are actually quite small, which certainly helps). Gave it a good wind and set the day/date. Timegrapher readings gave some pretty good numbers.... +/- 0 seconds/day, amplitude >300 and beat error 0.4 Not bad for an $80 watch! Will see what actual daily wear gives as far as accuracy goes, but shouldn't be too different from the timegrapher. Definitely looking like a 'champagne watch for lemonade money' at this point. Thanks for the very helpful review and recommendation, looks like I have a winner here! My first Cadisen!!!!

I believe that I will be purchasing this piece next. Still narrowing it down, but I will say, especially after that well earned review, that it is, high in the running.....so to speak. I do like the black dial, but also am rather partial to the "faux-meteorite dial" variation. Well done, as usual. Please keep up the good work, WR. Much appreciated....

Another great review.I have just purchased the green dial version for $78USD (it wasn't even in a sale) which seems to be an absolute BARGAIN. I have not received it yet, but will comment further when I have worn it for a bit. For consistency the indices at the 4 o'clock should be IV instead of IIII, but that is a minor complaint. The use of the butterfly deployant clasp would normally be questionable, but given the smallish links on the bracelet, getting a decent fit shouldn't be an issue for most. The cyclops is a big NONO on ANY watch, IMHO. A big, fat, disgusting blob on the crystal pretty much spoils it for me, so mine will be coming off. The lack of AR coating isn't usually an issue, unless you are looking at the dial under direct sun or flourescent light. There is way more to like than not, so definitely a 'champagne watch for lemonade money' for those of us who don't have 10's of thousands of $$ to throw away on a grossly overpriced, overhyped,overrated, unobtainable Rolex.

Your "champagne watch for lemonade money" stamp is allways a good sign for me to consider to buy, si I just got this one in sunburst Ice Blue dail, but I can't find any video's on that one.

I just received my Cadisen day date. So it has exceeded my expectations. The fit and finish is good. The crown is a little wonky, but acceptable. My over all impression is that for a budget watch it’s a great value.

Excellent review John, THe Finishing on the case and Bracelet of the Cadisen Day Date is very impressive. There are quite a few Mid tier brands that could learn a lesson or two in case & Bracelet finishing. This Cadisen Day Date puts the majority of those brands to shame. Regards,

The bezel is my only problem. When you compare it to the actual Rolex Day Date, the bezel looks different on the Day Date.

Look really great. Prefer the green and blue dial variant. Would prefer something like 38mm or what. Maybe a 36mm will be great as well.

@@watchreviews4k , based on your reviews I purchased the PD Pepsi GMT and the PD Daytona homages. I have been enjoying them a lot over the past 6 months or so but I've been having that "itch" for something different. On Facebook someone posted this Cadisen Day/Date Prez watch (the meteorite one) and it's beautiful. Almost has a linen look to the dial. Reminds me of obviously the Rolex DD but with a Grand Seiko dial. I was thoroughly impressed with the looks so I came here to see if you had reviewed it yet. I was pleased to see that you have and again, a great review. Would love to get your thoughts on the Deep Blue, Aragon, RVLVR and also Noob watches. I know Noob makes very convincing fake Rolex watches but they also make watches for other companies as well. If we buy a watch made at the Noob factory are we supporting counterfeit watches? Thanks!
