I own the SKX009K and the SKX011J on the stock Seiko jubilee bracelet. Two of my favorites in my collection.

I bought one today and it is the SKX009J1 version. Finally after 10 years after losing my 7002 I am again a proud owner of a Seiko Diver. Will never part with it ever again!

Watch Reviews Hello, I received my watch and it arrived in a blue box rather than white. And the box underneath shows as Made in China. I also only received the manual and not the certificate card of authenticity. Of which they guarantee it is. The watch looks perfect otherwise. Are these things to be concerned about? The serial # checks out good as well. Thanks for your advice.

Thank you for watching. They are sold in both blue, and white boxes. Also depending on the seller, sometimes they do/don't come with the warranty card. Its nothing to worry about as the international guarantee will be honoured by Seiko at any of their dealers, providing one has proof of purchase. Wear it in good health. Regards.

Very good review John. I can see why this watch has been popular for so long as it looks very nice. I like the S26 movement, i have one in an older Seiko 5. It keeps very good time.

Thank you for watching Mike. The 7S26 is a well proven workhorse movement, used in millions of Seiko 5's and SKX's from 1996. They are also inexpensive to replace, rather than service. It's nothing unusual for them to run for 20+ years with no servicing. I am a bi fan of the Seiko 5 as you know. They are the ideal first automatic piece for a collector. Wear yours in good health. Thank you for watching Mario. They are a great base watch to modify to one's own personal taste. Also there is a modder selling them with the NH36A movement, which gives the advantage of handwinding and hacking. (See links pinned above). The NH36A is the same as the 4R36 used in the Turtle and 5KX. For modding parts I highly recommend; Crystaltimes, Dagaz Watch, Yobokies. Regards.
