Yes I think so a few surprises in there but expected the majority of the full gold and two tones to be towards the bottom which is the same with most other models currently I think in regards to above rrp, It does seem crazy that some precious metal pieces are cheaper than the stainless steel versions.

I rewatched this video again, and i found it very informative. It’s interesting how much difference in value the dial can make. Also factory diamonds on Daytona plays a huge role compared to the other models. Also I found very interesting that the combination of dial and gem stones creates a scarcity in the watch.

I wish someone could do the same for Datejusts including for ladies. There are also some hidden gems only few people know about. Also smaller watches are more popular in Asia. For example in Vietnam people will buy 36mm Datejust and Daydate before they will buy Daytona or GMT

@@Watchtrader My opinion is unlikely to be of interest to anyone, but since I was asked. I think stainless steel sport watches specifically Daytonas are overrated. Putting them on par with precious metal watches and above two tone watches is simply ridiculous. There are exceptions to the rules, such as a rare dial. But this does not apply to the modern Daytonas with black and white dials.

Interesting, not sure I understand your point but it depends on the market value of a watch as to whether you would get more or less than retail price for a watch. You won’t be able to sell a watch to any watch dealer for the price you see them advertised for.

There is no baguette marker with brown outlier subdial platinum daytona. I’m pretty sure only the pointer marker dial has brown outer subdial rings while the baguette dial has the subdials all blue. Also I’m actually saving for an S&G white dial daytona so glad to hear it’s more bang for buck ❤. Also I submit this comment as my resume.

The previous reference Platinum Daytona baguette diamond dial did have full ice blue sub dials. The ones in this video are the current reference and both of them have the brown counter rings. Hope you get the S&G white dial Daytona soon. Thanks for tuning in.

By placing diamonds on the Bezel, the main functional characteristics of the watch that makes it a Daytona, ie being able to measure the speed of the vehicle from the time it takes to cover a fixed distance is completely loss! So these models cannot be really called Daytona. They are just some fancy blink blink watches that has a Chronograph 🤭🤣🤣🤣 For me, Daytona Meteorite wins any day anytime. Low key understatement that many celebrities features on their wrist as well!

Daytona is one of my least favourite watches. It’s too much Breitling chronomat. From these the blue dial with brown on platinum might be a choice though as it’s special For now I have my eyes set on full yellow gold with green dial. I guess it wasn’t in the market at the time of shooting this video.
