For the biogenic wet capsules can I add an oil based ingredient into the water phrase?

For the first bi-phase product, do you have to preserve the oil phase as well? or will the preservative in the water phase preserve the oil phase?

Oils don't need preservative - they only need antioxidant if there is a risk of them oxidising over time. So you only need to preserve the water phase. Hope this helps, happy formulating!

Hi Zachariah, in a nutshell yes - but the great things about these formulas is that they give the 'transparency' to a consumer about what the product contains (or doesn't!) Having a hard time finding the wet capsules here in the USA without having to go to the actual company that makes it......Don't want to have to buy 500 pounds of it if I don't have to but sure would like to use this in this formulation you are making.
