Of the vids I've come by, yours is among the most helpful. It reminded me that I myself have been negligent in taking common sense measures such as the one in the vid, which I'd wager could be the difference between maintaining health or facing unnecessary problems. Thanks for posting this vid. I saw it due to my mother having surgery mere days ago. She's old, I was worried re the surgery & anesthesia. I knew what she'd be in for, despite the laxatives prescribed, & after 3 days when she had painful constipation, I was left no choice but to relieve it in a rather hands on manner. People, (especially men, myself included) maybe aren't too keen on taking proactive health measures like this one. Right now I see how this can be beneficial to maintaining ones health.

Hey George, thanks for the kind words and for taking it upon yourself to help your mom! I have found, along my own healing journey, that there are so many practical self-care measures we can take on a regular basis at home, that are either as helpful or even more effective than what our doctors may prescribe. It’s all about the balance between medicine and self-care, vs just one or the other. So glad my video was of benefit to you and your family. Here’s wishing your mom a full recovery! 🙏🏼

I have been doing enemas now for a few months on the advice of my naprapathy.. Usually 2-3 enemas weekly or at the most every two weeks. I find that I feel better, lighter, more energy. I use baking soda in 2 of the full bag enemas and coffee and essential oil in #3 enema. Most of the time my girlfriend gives them to me so I can relax. The preferred way in on the bed on my side. I tried using the floor but I find it a bit hard to get up with a full bowel. Sometimes she will put me on my elbows and knees and administer.

My mom ordered a rubber bag enema for me and as soon as I smelled the cancery plasticizer VOC's I put it back into the package. I have enough health issues as it is.

Good call! You can easily find the stainless steel buckets on Amazon, and although they cost more than the rubber bag, it’s not that expensive-and way cheaper than dealing with extra health issues!

Do you have to add probiotics after the enema?
@lisatalev4 ай бұрын
@@savejosef no, not necessarily, but if you like you can do a retention enema with 8-12 ounces of lukewarm distilled water and probiotics (emptying the capsules) into the water. Mix with a whisk till blended (slightly cloudy), then take in as an enema, try to hold as long as you can.

An enema is not a painful process
@lisatalev Жыл бұрын
You’re right, it should not be painful. Sometimes a coffee enema can feel intense or uncomfortable, but it should never cause true pain-it often relieves pain.
@mike88261 Жыл бұрын
@@lisatalev Sorry. But that was a question. I just forgot a question mark )
@lisatalev Жыл бұрын
@@mike88261 water enemas should be relaxing, calming. I recommend meditating on the simple mantra “let it go,” to help your body/mind/spirit release all that’s not serving you. With coffee enemas, they can be more intense because they cause liver and gallbladder to purge toxic bile, dumping it into the intestines for removal. You might feel some occasional cramping or urgency, like you have to poop. I have a KZbin playlist on my channel called “Mindfulness and Spiritual Teachings” that’s a great resource-try listening to a video from that list during your coffee enema to help redirect your mind, and again, inviting your body (including muscle tension) to let go can be a helpful practice to get the best results. Good luck! Hope you get lots of benefits from this.

@@lisatalev Yes, but I have a not so good memory from childhood, that my mother would give me an enema many times, and it was unpleasant and painful
@lisatalev Жыл бұрын
@@mike88261 I see…Well, perhaps this is the perfect opportunity for you to do it differently, coming from the mindset of nurturing self-care rather than a forceful experience like you had as a kid. You can always shut the clamp and take a break for a few seconds or minutes…slow down, breathe deeply, be kind to yourself and respect your own limits in a way your mom wasn’t able to do. I find these rituals can be very healing and pampering, but only if you are gentle with yourself and honor your limits. Go slow, have calming music or a good meditation podcast to listen to. I believe you can rewire your nervous system to break the association with past suffering and create a new association with gentleness and healing. 🙏🏼

Where do you dry the towel in between uses
@lisatalev3 ай бұрын
@@alycia1236 if you are referring to the towel you lie on during enemas, you can wash it each time you use it-definitely wash & dry it as you normally would if it gets wet or you have any accidents on it. If it stays completely dry and nothing leaks on it, you can use it several times before washing. I have a large shelf in my bathroom linen closet where I can store my little “enema nest” setup. If you don’t have such storage in your bathroom, you may want to try under-bed storage or a hall closet (near the bathroom if possible) where you can store it between uses. Hope that helps!

Can I use just ordinary water ?
@lisatalevАй бұрын
No!! Definitely don’t use tap water, it’s full of all sorts of contaminants you don’t want to mainline into your gut! If you want to distill your own water rather than buying bottled, you could try that, but you’ll have to google how to do that properly…much easier to just get it at the grocery store!

Can I just use distilled water without changing it's temperature?

Yes, room temperature is fine too. Just make sure it’s not cold (from being in the A/C), because cold feels unpleasant and creates tension in the gut.

How warm should the water be ? Is it okay if it's a little hot ? How much salt should the water have ?
@lisatalev8 ай бұрын
I prefer bath tub temperature water, no hotter. Feels soothing to me plus the warmth can help loosen yucky stuff that may be lining your guts (like soaking dirty dishes in hot water lifts more grime than cold water). I don’t usually add regular salt because it tends to cause water retention. But potassium salts, I would add 1/2-1 tsp. Regular salt makes it harder to evacuate everything after you’re done-gut likes to hold onto salt water, not let it go. My favorite is adding 1-3 tsp magnesium liquid (muscle test to determine right dose) to a water enema. Magnesium is great for relieving cramps and muscle tension, also relaxes the mind (anti-anxiety).

@lisatalev8 ай бұрын
@@Showme-SHORTS just dropped the Amazon link to buy the potassium. In the meantime you could potentially use a pinch of pink salt, but you could also skip it. The salt might feel good, but it will likely cause your gut to retain water, make it harder to empty post-enema, and could result in a mess or urgent need to go later, when your gut suddenly decides to release it. Try the potassium I linked, should feel good and add some replenishment of minerals.

I started adding mms / water purification drops when I do enemas and I started seeing parasites and intestinal plaque coming out immediately.
@lisatalev9 ай бұрын
Wow! Just to clarify, what do you mean by MMS?
@George_D7777 ай бұрын
@@lisatalev It's an acronym for a branded name coined in a self-published 2006 book by "former scientologist" Jim Humble, of an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide, an industrial bleaching agent used as an enema, which he touted as a cure for everything from the common cold to cancer. This folly has been the source of injury & death to children, adults, & continues to this day despite being outlawed in many areas, by simply labelling it as "Not intended for human consumption". The "parasites" & "intestinal plaque" mentioned by the OP refers to fragments of mucous membrane shed from the gut resulting from bleach enemas marketed under MMS, by another individual who promoted it as a treatment for autism & erroneously labelled the damaged colonic excretions as "rope worms" in 2013. Since then. this individual was able to obtain a patent in one Asian state. Though note that scientific tests have shown there's no humans who fail to produce these falsely labelled parasites when administered MMS. Alas the parasite claims have been debunked: DNA testing done on so called rope worms produced only human DNA in results. If one searches _"Rope Worms: C'est la Merde",_ among others, this information is expanded upon considerably. I've never seen that website before today, & regardless of whatever else they may be about, I can only assert they make a compelling argument against the use of MMS & other bleach enemas, & other treatments using similarly damaging ingredients.

Don’t be nervous! Remember, you can always go slow, and if it’s just water (not coffee), it’s no big deal if you can’t hold it long, just listen to your body and let it go when you need to. I also think it helps a lot to listen to an interesting podcast or sound healing music in the background, so your mind has something positive to focus on. Check out my Meditation Music and/or Mindfulness & Spiritual Teachings playlists for inspiration. Good luck!

Can enemas be done while pregnant
@lisatalev8 ай бұрын
Good question! I don’t think so; you want to be careful to avoid too much detox while pregnant (and nursing) because the toxins could be transferred to the fetus, once liberated from your tissues. Also, could throw off essential electrolyte balance. I would wait until after you’ve given birth and fully healed to do water enemas, and wait until done nursing before trying coffee enemas. If you struggle with constipation, try foot reflexology! I taught a pregnant client how to work acupressure points on her feet and her constipation resolved completely! Blessings for the best of health, to you and your baby 🙏🏼

@@lisatalev thank you for letting me know all this info is really helpful and informative, what about only using water only is it still bad?
@lisatalev8 ай бұрын
@@autolink876 I’m not an expert on all the details, so I urge you to do a bit of Google research looking into this question. Many health practices & supplements that may be fine during pregnancy often come with warnings not to use if pregnant. General rule: err on the side of caution. Especially during first trimester, miscarriages are not uncommon, and little things may be catalysts for either miscarriages or unforeseen complications. Generally it’s best to avoid anything too invasive or detoxifying/potentially dehydrating while pregnant, since your body needs extra fluids to make more blood and needs to maintain more robust levels of electrolytes (“for two”). Depleting or purging when you’re supposed to be in growth mode is a no-no. Generally you can’t detox (break down & eliminate) and build (or rebuild) at the same time. Prioritize growth & building vs purging when pregnant!
