Water Marbled Christmas Tree Ornament Tutorial

Sorry for no sound, I'm not sure what happened since I posted this! LET ME KNOW IF YOU GUYS HAVE QUESTIONS!
Water marbling some Christmas tree ornaments would be a fun holiday activity to do with friends or family!

Those are just beautiful! Last year I made over 50 - 1" ornaments for family and co-workers with their initials and year on the back! Sometimes I got bubbles on the ornament after dipping, so all I did was blow on them before they were dry and the bubble would collapse. No more bubbles! I used ornament hooks to hang them from a wire shelf to dry, but I found if I put the hook on before the dip, I didn't have to handle the freshly polished piece at all. On every one, I put on a base coat, let it dry and then dipped. Colors really popped, just like on my fingernails. What a fun way to extend a water-marble!!! Great minds think alike and thanks for sharing your talents!

Garden Guru It really is such a great idea and they make amazing presents! good idea to put the initials on them! I decided to skip a base coat and as you can see it still worked out pretty nicely :)

I love, love, love it!!!!!! The NO NOISE SOUND AND ALL!!!!! Seriously, way too many people are on you-tube TTTAAAAALLLKKKKIIINNNGGGG!!!!!!! I am a straight to the point person, I am visual, just show the work without all the fluff. I can't speak for others but I love the vloggers that get straight to the point and show their Beautiful Work (LIKE YOURS) and be done. People are on you-tube to talk 10, 20, sometimes 40 minutes talking about nothing and when they finally do show you how to do it, IT LOOKS A HOT MESS!!!! Now I'm talking too much bye :>} lol

Sound starts about 4 minutes in, but it's just music. If you watch her video where she shows how she does the manicure that she's wearing in this video, it helps make sense of this one. It has sound all the way through. Thanks for the demonstration. Very beautiful and I'll be trying it soon. ~ Lisa

OMG i LOVE IT I was looking for things other than nails that i could water marble on during the weekend since i was practicing with a bunch of different colors and i was running out of tips i had lol now im going to buy some ornaments to marble on yay! lol keep the vids coming!!! i LOVE EM!!! oh and BTW i saw your work in a nail magazine my bf bought me thanksgiving week... MrsBearPINK I first marbled my phone case way back when and then had the idea to do it on some ornaments, it worked out so well! I'd love to see what you come up with! Tina Capstick I used a tupaware container the first time I did this but the water bottle worked better since the surface area was just perfect for the ornament :)

My cat has been an annoyance tonight- constantly stepping on my laptop. So I closed ip shop and headed into the bedroom. If I sit on the bed with the light off, he goes elsewhere to look for action. So, I opened my laptop back up and clicked on the video. Dang, no sound. Ok Finn, what did you do this time. KZbin isn't muted. Computer volume doesn't seem to be turned down. Go into settings and things look fine. Okay, check another video and there is sound. Ok, wth? Come back here and happen to see the info in the introduction. So, now I'm wondering, perhaps this is a sign that I should just give up and go to sleep. I am obviously not paying attention as I should be. Oops.
