Just picked up an altezza and all your videos have given me lots of insight on how “easy” these cars are to work on haha. Great videos keep it up

You can only guess why I’m watching this video… yup, the altezza I just bought has a leaking waterpump. I absolutely loved everything about this video. Informational and entertaining, I can’t wait to never want to do this job again. And I thought working on Subarus was bad 🤣

Your videos are great sir. I just got an altezza rs200 here in japan and i would like to clean the mass air flow sensor, throttle body, and the iddle control valve, but i am honestly not sure if there is an iddle control valve. I can't find anything on internet about it. Could you please tell me if there is one and where is located? I haven't done anything yet but I am planning to do it this coming Sunday, in 2 days. Thank you so much. Your project rocks.
@GarageKei Жыл бұрын
Thanks, I appreciate that. Where are you in Japan? My mass air flow sensor is long gone. I've got no idea how to clean that but Google will certainly tell you. For the throttle body you want throttle body cleaner. Don't use a carburettor cleaner or it could damage the seals. From what I can tell the idle is all controlled by the electronic throttle body and there is no separate valve.

Yes, this didn't disappoint. But you mate, need a Honda, you will actually enjoy working on it, it's that simple and we'll engineered. You need barely any tools, I carry a hand full with me and that's all I need for almost everything

I have a 91 Honda, and 2 Toyotas from the 90s. I hate working on the Toyotas, because they ALWAYS present problems like this. It seems to be Toyota's THING, to put fasteners in the most unreachable positions.
