I used to go to Water Tower Place all the time as a teenager. I loved their glass elevators lol. I think that's the first time I ever saw elevators like that, so they amazed me at the time. I love the surrounding area this place is in too. New Town and Old Town are my favorite places to visit in Chicago.

@@OnTheGoWithFlo-Kid22 mall glass elevators are the best. Getting harder and harder to find. I definitely have a lot more of Chicago to explore in that area. 🙂

Wow, even in the middle of the city, the malls are slowing down. Maybe it picks up over the holidays. Never been inside Water Tower but very cool layout. Glad you guys had a fun day.

@MissSothePeacefulObserver probably a mix of factors. It was midday on like a Tuesday. Generally less high-end spending in this economy. And while it is slowly returning. Commuters into the city has not returned to what it was pre-pandemic. As someone who was very familiar with how difficult it was to get a parking spot at Arlington Park past 7:30 AM. It's more of a tourist thing than anything now. So many easier ways to get these items out in the burbs, and probably more affordable.
