Watercolor & Hot Foil Resist with Glimmer Hot Foil - Easy Handmade Cards

One of the cool (yet underrated) properties of foil is resist. Foiled images will resist ink applied over it (unless the ink is permanent), they will resist watercolor markers and just good old watercolor. In today's video, I’m sharing a simple but beautiful hot foil floral watercolor card. Think of the foiled image as an embossed one, the raised edge aside. Just like embossing powder resists ink and watercolor, the foil will resist any waterbased ink applied over it.

Yes, I agree. But it was an afterthought and there isnt a die cut it out. Perhaps I should have used different color foil, maybe black, to help it stand out
