I just finished painting this rose and I love it!! The detail of the dark pink edge, learning to create shadows on the white part of the flower, as well as painting that gorgeous leaf - it was wonderful to paint! Thank you for another wonderful tutorial!

Thank you very much. Glad you like the channel. I tend not to recommend a particular brand to start out - rather what your budget allows since I don’t stick to one brand as you’ve probably noticed. If you are looking for a great budget brand of paint the it’s Mungyo which are amazing quality

So I'm at the point of mixing shadow colors. My p. green, burnt umber plus a tad of rose came out almost black. Even when I added a ton of water. Could you clarify?
