Ok! I ❤❤❤❤ this! I’ve often looked up into trees or rocked in a hammock under a pine and loved the view wondering how in the world that perspective could be captured. You were definitely successful! Love your videos because you are so experienced and knowledgeable. While I’m a beginner, you inspire me to try these different beautiful techniques.

I loved this video with such interesting techniques. I particularly like the stencil lifting with a toothbrush. I must try this.

I just love this! The painting is gorgeous and the meaning behind it is special! I am 54 and you took me right back to childhood in Sunday School! I remember that story of the little man climbing up a Sycamore tree. We would sing a song about that! I had to look up Luke 19 because for the life of me, I couldn't remember the man's name lol. It's Zacchaeus! Thank you for sharing this video and for bringing back a memory I may have otherwise never remembered again! 🤗

I think this is my favorite video yet! The use of the marbling is fantastic, but my favorite part was the results from the pour. That effect, when dry was just stunning! It really did look like water ripples! The painting as a whole really gave me the feeling that I was under the tree looking up. Amazing! Thanks so much for sharing. 🦢

The painting turned out beautifully. I loved the echoing of different shapes and fuzzy colors. There are a couple of lines at the bottom I would have found a way to lift.

Good Morning Elizabeth, 😀☀️😀-your comment got my attention, do you mean the swirl lines from the paper marbling or another spot? The reason I’m intrigued is that means the painting has a discord! (out of place/drama) which I usually consciously try to add but in this painting hadn’t thought too. Feedback is fun 🤩
@rainbowfox19342 жыл бұрын
@@watercolorpour In the original painting with the swirls, at the bottom are two tree branches that were not used in the second painting. They are still visible. You could emphasize them as 'ghost' branches or paint more heavily over them. Still I was impressed with what you did. I learn a lot by watching you.

Hi, I am newly subscribed and from the UK. I have been painting for around 13 years but a really 'tight' painter. At Christmas, my grandchildren bought me a watercolour book by Ann Blockley called Experimental Landscapes, it is marvellous and like you, Ann does wonderful experiments and pushes the boundaries of watercolour painting. I have Brusho and inks sitting in my craft cupboard that I really need to say hello to! II love your paintings and also your inquisitive nature, I need to be bold and free as well. I love painting trees and flora but I am too precise I really do need to loosen up. Going to get out my paints today and go for it!! Lovely work!

What wonderful grandchildren to gift you with such a book! I will have to check it out, my library is growing thanks to Thriftbooks and Abe Books where you can get art books for just dollars at times. So happy you are inspired and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, happy painting

Hi Buffy! Thanks for sharing your expertise with us. I found your videos a few weeks ago, and I am in love with your teaching style, and your work. I need to buy a fine mister sprayer. Which one do you have? There are several available in Amazon. Thanks in advance for your response.

This was so amazing to watch! I'm curious about the water soluble pastel, does it dry along with the watercolor so that you can no longer rub it off or is it like other pastel mediums where you could easily rub it off if not protected somehow?
@watercolorpour2 жыл бұрын
Good morning, using the method in this video, it dries along with the watercolor and does not budge once dried. Thank you for watching!
