Welcome to my channel!
In this video I test out the new (autumn!) watercolour palette that I put together in my last video. I wanted to experiment with different colour mixes and techniques and thought I'd share this little sketchbook painting of a squirrel with you at the same time so I hope you enjoy it. Making this video has also inspired me to make some colour mixing charts so I can learn more about the colours on my palette so let me know if that's something you've done or would like to see here on my channel. Oh goodness Sarah, you poor thing, you’ve really had it rough haven’t you! Hope you’re feeling a little better? And your daughter has made a good recovery hopefully too. My daughter had Covid over half term so when I was ill shortly afterwards, I was expecting it to be that too but somehow I ended up in hospital with meningitis 😫 Anyway, thankfully it was viral not bacterial so I am on the mend. Glad to hear that you are doing a bit better and hope your recovery continues to upswing! Is it just me? I always, like seriously ALWAYS, strugle with acrylic pens, be that a push tip or non push tip nomatter the brand, the damn things always get clogged on me. I might as well mask that with masking fluid and be done with the hassle of the darn pushpens :P bc if I clean the push pen, guess what, I always endup getting a blob. Just where I don't want it :P

I'm new to acrylic markers but so far I haven't had any problems with this one- it may be early days though so I'll let you know! I would always test the paint flow on a separate piece of paper before I try it on my painting though to minimise any 'blobbing' on my finished piece! 😊
