I am not an artist but I am a fellow Canadian. I would say stick drawings are about all I can do. I'm working my way through your lessons and just doing the little painting near the end of the lesson (mountain scene) has given me hope. I'm stretching myself and, although it can be frustrating and I often feel totally out of my element, I want to keep working at it. I think these lessons will really help. I do all my painting in a coil book and journal on each page how I'm feeling and sometimes what's going on in my life at the time. It's definitely added something wonderful to my life.

I have been doing watercolours for about a year now and I can’t say I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my painting. I gotta say I feed like giving up. I’ve spent a fair mount of money on paints and supplies so I feel obligated to keep trying but I can’t say I’m having fun doing it.
