Nate should give you a commission on sales from this KZbin clip. I am at the stage in my build that I was trying to decide to build hatches my self. One look at those an me building them is history. The local fabricated is going to cuss a blue streak when I tell him about these. Thanks for sharing.

It's awesome to have stuff like the dry hatches and all. I might as well buy a new boat. Glad to see you back at it again. Can't wait to see it when you finish

Id love to hear how these preform in regards to keeping the hatch dry and clean. My worry is the channel collects mud and sand and clogs the drain easily. Thanks!

I was going to try to build this myself but I think Im going to buy this stuff. Looks really well made

Nice looking hatches I was wondering how you keep them from opening and closing in rough water ? Looks like there needs to be some kind of latch. Thanks

I’m surprised Nate himself wasn’t in one of the boxes. You open up the box and he jumps out and yells, “surprise, let’s get working on the boat!”.
@fireantfishing4 жыл бұрын
Haha if he was the boat would be done by now haha

Those hatches are so sweet! Do you plan on painting them to keep them from getting too hot and to cut down on reflection?
@fireantfishing4 жыл бұрын
Yeah im going to paint them and then do some type of sea decking possibly
@gb11284 жыл бұрын
how do you deck those hatches out. do you instal them flush with the plywood? if you were going to carpet them, how does that work? thanks
@fireantfishing4 жыл бұрын
I'm using aluminum, so they will be flush with aluminum sheeting. I'm planning on using the decking foam instead of carpet. You could carpet, same way you would with wood. You just wouldn't need to fold it under
