I hope to provide more details about the boots after using them for a while but the initial feel is great. I would recommend ordering down a half size as they seem to run big.

I have been wearing my Muck boots for about 5 years and still love them.

I'm gonna write a bit of a book because foot comfort is important. After 8 years doing fert/weed control I've tried every combination possible of sock/chemical resistant boot. I wore Mucks for years until I worked at Trugreen for a few months a few years bacm. They provide Bog boots for you and I managed to snag two pairs in my size. Both Mucks and Bogs (both the mid shin style boots like yours) are rough for the first week or so. Blisters/foot pain until you break them in. Bogs definitely take the cake for me for durability and comfort. I've been using my current pair (still wearing Trugreen boots 3 years later) for 2 and a half years. They're literally just starting to deteriorate (cracks, sole pulling away from the side of the boots) With Mucks, they're comfortable after broken in, but hardly get a full season out of them. Another thing to note...Wigwam socks on Amazon. The hiking style sock is hands down the most comfortable sock in these boots. Never a blister. Another tip, I usually roll the top of the boots down about 3 inches so the top doesnt rub on you calf or shin while walking. Learned that the hard way. One last thing, I use my Bogs for mowing/trimming too and they are perfect. Always dry feet and they protect your shins while trimming.

We get a lower cut lace up steel toe rubber boots from Grainger. They're like $35 but don't have the extra insulation from the neoprene. put a good insole in them and they're just fine however I just bought the exact pair of mucks and I'm not looking back

Be sure to wear ear protection if you're around machinery. Even once you already have hearing damage, wearing ear protection can help prevent further damage.

Doesn't look like we will be affected by the storm here in Alabama. I will probably took my pants legs inside the boots to prevent rubbing. If they are not comfortable I may try the ankle height boots next time

I usually wear my knee high concrete boots if I blanket spray my lawn for insects like sod webworm or chinch bugs.

I've switched and started wearing muck muckster II. I get about six months out of them but they are very comfortable
