I just got these "Sketchers for Work" shoes with composite toe and also they're waterproof. They're like work boots and hiking shoes combined. IMO they're perfect for lawn care! Not as bulky and uncomfortable as a boot but still durable and waterproof

Nice video. For the last 8 year's I been doing lawn care and i always tell the new guys don't be cheap take care of your feet. Couple brands i used so far have been Colombia which split day one and my boot filled with urea spray and tore my feet up. I used bog boot forget which one. It was a solid boot never leaked and i got 2 seasons out of it but they were very pricey and not as comfortable as the mucksters. I use muckster 2 last two year's. They are very comfortable and half the price of the bogs. Problem is they run hot in summer... Very hot and the soles wear out. I start my season march 1-December 1. I can get the mucks to last til about October. By then the soles wear out and leak from the bottoms. Then I switch to traditional boots because im no longer spraying. Don't wear anything with laces or leather for spraying. Im not sure the science behind it but the spray dehydrated the leather and makes it uncomfortable and crack. It also makes the laces stiff and crack.

I wear Keen boots for my lawn work. I like the look of the KUJO as a casual shoe or for walking. They're pretty stylish.

I have the Juro Yardwear a couple buy them in August dl last year are the first shoes that have lasted a long time but mine are black and look good. I work very hard and I give the shoes strong and they look good yet.

I really wanted to like the kujo yardwear but I couldn’t go more than an hour before my feet were soaked by the due. Been wearing cowboy boots for the last few years but I’m switching to redwing outdoor lace up boots this year

King Gee... light strong work shoes with non conductive toe protection.. had high hopes but glue didn't last six months for soles. They said it was the grass acid and yet only mow once a week.. hence here looking at options.

I wear steel cap for everything may not be totally comfortable but very safe I must admit when pressure cleaning I’ve thought of rubber boots

I have a pair of Sketchers that I wear. Very comfortable, they have a compost toe. The soles are slip resistant. They are a shoe type, not a boot, so I get my socks dirty when I mow. They hold up well, moisture wise, in the wet grass.

Used Kujos last season didn't last but a couple of months. I was weed eating quite a bit so it ate them up by constantly walking. The glue around the seams of the outer rubber came undone and water came in a lot. My boss who got the same kind of Kujos mows, and his are still in good shape.

You should try redbacks, that last forever are chemical resistant, hold up well to waking on concrete, and are waterproof.And extremely comfortable, I’ve been diesel technician for 14 years and I switched to them about 2 years ago and am still on the first pair, replaced the insoles once, recently. I also have plantar fasciitis on top of that, which is no where near as bad as it was before I switched to these boots. Just have to remember when you buy them they are Australian sizes so a size 10 u.s. is a 9 in redback

Unfortunately even the best boots get destroyed by lawn mowing. Especially over Winter in the rain and mud etc. I've been mowing commercially for 18 years and I go through 2 pairs a year, no matter how good they are or how much I spend.

You forgot soccer cleats😊 I have one yard with two terrace levels that can only be managed with a pair of cleats.......and that's with a Toro 4wd push mower!

One thing to consider... deep lugs are harder to de-mud. If you don't need super-traction, your wife will appreciate not tracking in mud chunks that even when scrubbed, inevitably find their way into the kitchen. Quick hose off slip ons to leave by the front door is my utopia. Hoping to find them. Clogs let in too much crap, all rubber 'shoes' get hot. Leaning towards arch-supportive low boot deck shoe style in 10 Wide

Do you have a water tank to spray off the rubber boots after spraying a yard, and do you wear the rubber ones all day when doing yards or do you remove them when driving between yards? Is there a smart way to spray yards to avoid getting chemicals on the hose and the boots, or do you ignore those concerns? Thanks.

Thanks for sharing just ordered the Dryshod they look nice lets see. Love my Danners, Kujo are nice but so hard to get on like the heel was not made correctly could be just mine. Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Shawn from Kujo here. Great feedback, which we heard from a few people on our first production run. This year's version has already been updated: We made them much easier to get on/off by reducing the lace holes, making the holes larger so the laces slide easier, and lacing up differently. We also improved the heel by adding an internal heel support - which makes the heel much more durable, and comfortable...

I rotate my running shoes every year. I have also mowed a lot in steel toe boots but that is not comfortable whatsoever and very hot in the summer

Dryshod- never heard of that brand, looked on Amazon and don't see that particular boot, but they have other styles. I currently wear Bogs when tank spraying and hold up well but may try these. Do you know that particular style/name?- I prefer the low cut.
