WATERSIDE HOUSE CAMPSITE, ULLSWATER REVIEW!!

In this video we take a look around Waterside house campsite on ullswater in the Lake District
Come with us as we take a look around and review the site from our perspective whilst touring the lakes with Riva.
On the lake you can kayak and paddle board until your hearts content.
There is an on site shop aswell as a hire centre for paddle boards

We had a sailing boat on ullswater when we was kids! We sailed that lake for about 7/8 years it’s very expensive to up keep a boat! Great video though definitely planted the seed for our summer trip! 😊

the boat life does look really tempting by like you say it is very expensive and if you have a larger boat you can just pick it up and move it each weekend. we are going back to waterside this year, its beautiful as you know, let us know when you book up

@ it’s a great life sailing not as nice as caravanning 😂 think we will do week in the lake early August am not sure yet we will defo be up that way in August though!

@wanderwiththebevans we went in August last year, it was busy but it's kind of nice when it's busy because the kids find plenty of kids to play with

i love the lakes been countless times with the children ,and your right theres a lot of free entertainment ,by using your bikes or own canoes or dinghy we went everywhere Coniston ,Windermere,etc ,Donald Campbell and blue bird on Coniston we sailed to wild cat island (peel Island)as referred to in the book Swallows and Amazons, the history of this area is wonderful if you want to show your children something interesting, this site looks great if you have a boat as it looks quieter than windermere defiantly going to be pitching up here this summer the cafe on site looks great ,just what you need after a 2 or 3 hour drive a nice drink and a little snack before setting up ,gets my vote everytime ,ask them if they would consider a complementary welcome drink on arrival via a voucher system ,then it would be perfect 😎
