Stuttering John is horrible. I love how he cries when someone goofs on his kid for being transgendered when he was making fun of crazy cabby for being BI. There are so many videos of him calling cabby “gay”. Now he’s woke. I’m just glad Anthony severed ties with him cause now we don’t have to listen to Anthony fake laugh at him. F stuttering john

He brought up his NYU student film a couple of months ago, and I could hardly believe it. He was actually talking about how some directors would go back to their earlier films and try to update or improve them, and how that never worked, that they were never as good as the original. Then he mentioned that they tried to do that with at least one of the early Star Wars movies and that -- in the same breath -- he himself thought of doing it with his own NYU student film, but decided against it. So, in his mind, a Star Wars movie and his own student film are out of the same drawer, worthy of equal consideration in regards to updating and improvement. He said this without a hint of irony. He was serious. He is out of his mind. But he is the gift that keeps on giving.

Kevin, one small request: we need MORE deep-dives on Tony from MCIS (or whatever the fuck it's called). He's a permanent source of fascination and hilarity. Truly the weirdest bloke (yes, I'm English, I use words like bloke and geezer, and drink in actual pubs, in London, not fake ones like John in LA - no offence to Pickwick or ‘the Yard’, but you know what I mean...). The only concession I'll make to John: although it was never a huge deal here - the E-show was played on cable tv in the UK in the late nineties, on Paramount comedy channel, and so we could access those easily, and some of us were huge fans...but it was never a household name. Some ppl would know it, some wouldn't, mostly not, but Howard WAS a familiar name, mainly by reputation (and when Private Parts came out, he did a promotional blitz here (look up Howard stern on TFI Friday), and appeared in the tabloids, so ppl could now put a face to a name etc. And would know him as the controversial shock jock who was worth millions, in the way we knew Letterman or Larry king through their place in popular culture etc.) Then when KZbin came about, I started searching for old interviews I remembered Howard doing with celebs - like Noel Gallagher - and from then I started to watch everything I could find, and discovered all the Wack Packers and so forth (weirdly I first became obsessed with Hi-Pitch Eric, quickly overtaken by Jeff the Drunk, THEN came My main HS obsession - BEETLEJUICE, the Goat, then the enigmatic Fred, Baby Booey, even Robin etc.). I loved it, and other friends of mine at university also got into it through the clips on KZbin, and it spread by word of mouth. So yeah, he did have a cult presence in the UK. Just wanted to clear that up. But it was all Howard, in no way did Stuttering John have any kind of fame or name-recognition lol! DABBLERS FOREVER. The idea Ali G stole his act is laughable - there was a British comedian called Dennis Pennis from the early 90s who would ask irreverent Qs on red carpets. I think John has more of a case with him lol. And err, Ali G is really funny, John is not…key difference.
