Am maybe check behind you first then? lol! Like what's the difference between checking before you pull up you phone (or open your laptop lid or turn it on) or after it unlocks to that unlocked screen?? Also, if you didn't notice that someone was standing behind you or simply failed to check before you pulled up your phone or open your laptop lid, why would you suddenly remember to check or become aware of the that person 1-2 sec later when you swipe up to get into the phone?? Sorry, but your comment makes absolutely no sense. Especially not, since there's absolutely no sensitive info about you on your home screen. Well, unless you're dumb enough to have a photo of your bank balance or yourself naked as backdrop, lol! Also.. No, absolutely no, that's not why you get to the unlocked screen or whatever it's called. It's because Apple wants to condition you regarding how a smartphone should look, feel and operate. All to make you dislike the unfamiliar and weird feeling of unlocking an Android phone, after years of iPhone usage. You know, if you ever would get the idea, to maybe switch. Because if every iPhone model is like this, and you buy and use two or three in a row during a number of years without switching to Android, most people will be quite annoyed at least the first week or two at a minimum, when they try an Android after all those years of iPhone. And most won't try it for more than a half an hour in some store, before they decide. And thus, they are going to feel the most uncomfortable possible about the change and so, probably just buy another iPhone. Yes, Apple is one of the most sinister and worst when it comes to customer manipulation. You'd be surprised how fooled we all are on a daily. And obviously not just by Apple. But like I said, they are by far one of the absolute worst.

The reason that there are 4 pixels under the notch is because it’s also like that on the iPhone. The navigation bar on iOS is also slightly taller than the notch on the iPhone.

What are you talking about? It never “used to be like that”! The old MagSafe cables were attached to the brick.

I love the shallow keyboards! They’re so efficient. Instant gratification.

I could argue that menu bar that is a little taller than the notch already looks good, because it doesn’t break the menu bar into left bar and right bar, and that is bad because sometimes the menus can overflow from left to right (like that image of davinci resolve they showed)

Small correction from a jackal: the headphone port would have an extra amplifier as any headphone port is going to have a DAC, and I'd expect Apple's to be pretty good.

I think they can’t add Face ID because if you look at an iPhone Face ID, the Face ID module is as deep as the iPhone itself and the screen is really thin on a MacBook. So it’s impossible to add it, it’s also the reason why they couldn’t add an iPhone selfie camera to a Mac because there’s not enough depth for it.

A simple question Marques. For someone who is a new professional photographer and hasn't ventured into editing video yet would the baseline 14" MacBook Pro have all I would need to use Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, and Topaz software efficiently? Thanks your videos are always right on point!
