Can't believe you've never heard this song. One of the best Peter Gabriel songs ever. She is very close to the original but, IMO, I think this is WAY better. Too bad she couldn't have been the actual drummer for this song. One of the most amazing performances on drums I've seen. Her age takes it to a new level of amazing.

Woah, woah, woah, wait just a minute. I'd never heard this tune either until I saw Yoyoka cover it, and I've been listening to Peter Gabriel since his Genesis days back in the 1970s. I've also seen Gabriel perform live, and he didn't play THIS tune. Peter really is far too self-absorbed to be a good musical emissary.

Yoyoka is so awesome! She was such a hard hitter even at 9. She is even more awesome now. It's amazing being able to witness in real time this young prodigy grow and get even better year after year. This young lady has a bright future and I can't wait to see where her talent takes her!

Sometimes it's just nice to go back to basics... 9yr old Yoyoka crushing it, and Wave picking his jaw up. I think this is the biggest kit we've seen Yoyoka play... three rack, two floor, two crash, splash, ride? I can't remember a bigger one.

Great reaction and all the double (triple) pedal work doesn't seen to be in the original and a lot of the fills she does aren't there either. To be honest, it sounds a lot better than the original. Yoyoka: "I'll fix that for you".

Now, all you have to do is listen to the original track to completely understand what she had done for this song. Best part - this arrangement is all hers, and not Peter Gabriel's band! We're talking about 9 year-old Yoyoka rearranging this song here. Unbelievable. Seriously bro, go listen to the original track (you can find it on KZbin).

It is plain, pure joy watching Yoyoka play this cover. Your observable pleasure just makes the performance all the sweeter. Yoyoka creates another amazing, unmatched piece of visual and auditory art. God loves Yoyoka, and he convinced Mother Nature to bestow an otherworldly amount of percussive talent. A beauty to watch, but disheartening too because I know I will never be able to do anything close to this at any age. Drummers are magic. PS POST SCRIPT: Is your name really "Wave?" How did THAT happen? & what's the whole "quarter pounder" label about? Surely I am substantially more massive than 4 ounces.
