Hey congrats on 2k subs man. The audio quality is great, but missing the missing sound of the motor and the exhaust makes my ears sad. Add a second mic for the exhaust note?

Yeah Bret it's a game changer...DaVinci Resolve released it in their 18.1 update and named it Voice Isolation. It's fast just one click. The only draw back is that it's only available in the paid version., Boooo! We use the free version and thinking about switching in order to use it, as well as other updates. Okay Brett...Filmora 9, time to upgrade to 12. We still have Filmora 10 installed but don't use it since switching to resolve. Resolve has a higher learning curve than Filmora, but faster processing. Now that I've got the basics...I find that I enjoy editing much more.
@ChopperFett2 жыл бұрын
Hahah I just upgraded to 12, they are really trying to keep pace lol. For the $30 and it works with the free version of Resolve might be worth the one time purchase. Happy Holidays to you both!!!!

Oh Brett I am excited to check this link out!! I am currently using Davinci for all my editing but haven't learnt anything about how to use the audio setting, it is way over my ability right now. I struggle like the rest of us with the wind noise and perfect audio. Thanks for sharing!!

It sounds really good. I use Audition to pull some wind noise some times. I can’t wait to do a jump off. Lol.

Wind noise can ruin good footage. For important stuff, I use the Zoom H1N with Rode lav mic. Works well. Just takes a few minutes to syc up with the footage while editing.

The audio sounds great, can’t hear the wind ! I will need to go to Johns channel to find his video also. That’s quite a difference from the RAW audio.

Too bad it's not made for Premiere Pro. Guess I'll just have to keep going slow huh?? 😂😂. It definitely sounds good though. Good video Brett!!
@bikegeist2 жыл бұрын
Since it's a VST plugin, it should work with Premiere, too. Just go to Edit > Preferences > Audio > Audio Plug-in Manager and add the VST from there. Then it will show up under the Effects menu in the VST section.

It does a good job. It has some things that it struggles with I have found but not often. I like to be able to break out background noise as a separate track so I can set levels just as I want. John did have a good find by figuring out how it works. Their licensing model sucks though, I don't like having to pay for upgrades, and only installed on one PC at a time, and only able to move that PC once a year sucks. Other than that, cool product.

John told me about this a while back, but I actually like having a little bit of environmental noise in my audio. Is there an option where you can fade some of the external noise in?

For sure man. It’s a simple dial from 0 to 100. I like having a little wind noise and engine noise. Takes just finding a happy balance

Hello from California. I was curious what state that you are riding in and how long are you generally restricted for a riding season weather wise. And just one more thing, which helmet are you using and how quiet is it for wind noise.
