Lowkey jealous of his dark, thick, curly hair, and highkey jealous that he's getting a haircut by the most talented barber on the other side of the Atlantic, who made him look like a star. Dan is an artist, and every haircut is a masterpiece. He should post a lot more often, love to watch him work :)

Those really high fades that blend into longer lengths are really tough to pull off simply because the blend has to be very aggressive -- really short to really long with a very little real estate for the blend. Still, I think it could've been a bit smoother. But nevertheless, all of Dan's clipper work is always superb, so you can't knock him for one less-than-superb fade/blend.

It looks interesting right now, but the incline in transition is too quick and too steep. When that grows back, it looks like that "Mushroom-Head Effect" will happen.

it sucks that you cant even explain the idea of a haircut like this to most barbers, because they will think you dont think they know how to cut hair or their ego will get in the way. dan is great because he obv can cut hair, but hes willing to step outside the box to take his haircuts to the next level.

Its a european style fade. Its supposed to look like that. Im not a big fan of it myself but its a style over there.
@EML42004 жыл бұрын
Mike I know this is an old comment but I hate the way they “fade” thats a bowl cut. Nobody walks into a barbershop and wants an unblended fade.
@rafid63244 жыл бұрын
Reacher420 they domt know what they talking about, I see what he’s saying that there’s not much gradience I’m the fade, but that’s because the haircuts recurved some length on the sides and crown, opposed to American barbers who shave the crown right off, and always go to high on there fades ( regardless if the bald guide is low) they bring there clippers way to high on the head
@rafid63244 жыл бұрын
At the end of the day people want there hair to look good, no one gives a fuck about how gradient there fade looks, and a lot of ppl like the bald, high contrast look
@EML42004 жыл бұрын
Tiffany green- Harrington They leave the crown when its a low bald fade or drop fade. If you leave the crown its a drop or shadow fade. And the barbershop im in our clients will know the difference between a blended fade and unblended fade.
@PlantBaePapi4 жыл бұрын
These haircuts are the reason why I left the salon world in my small town. I’d do these type of haircuts, and salon manager would always approach me and say I didn’t do a good job, and there is no need for a line of demarcation. Two salon manager would take over and turn it into a military type of haircut. I miss living in Chicago lol they know what’s sup!
@ThePromisedWLAN4 жыл бұрын
Damn. There are *_No_* barbers in my area with anything even approximate to this level of artistry. And I could really use a barber like this because my hair is almost exactly like the client being cut in this video. Thick texture with curls and waves and sporadic straight bits on the sides. Very difficult to cut and/or style.
