I think the important bit of Eric's story is how brief he keeps it. "And thats when he passed." That's a memory he doesn't want to dramatize, there's no extra words or detail about doctors rushing in or wailing parents. It is more than understandable that, given his blowup, he doesn't want to give any leads to keep people off these greiving parents. Its not lack of proof on his end, but discretion for the peace of the family.
@GilesHellier10 ай бұрын
I agree. His lack of embellishing really speaks his truth for him. Liars talk more because they have more bases to cover and plot-points to remember. It's the whole reason why actors have monologues, because they're trying to explain as much as possible so that the viewer can enjoy more of the fiction. Eric doesn't have to worry about establishing the 'lore' of his world, because his world is our world!

His HIPAA claim checks out, as it is basically standard protocol for medical staff (to the point that several details are only shared with the patient or if said patient agrees, a second party of sorts like a family member). Aside from possibly losing their job, the leaker would also lose quite a bit of credibility for breaking what's one of the golden rules in the medical field. 2. The hospital and the family have been through enough turmoil, why give them more of it? I know there are quite a few cases of scams out in the open, but stop... is clout really that necessary?

Unfortunately I think a majority of people only do 'good deeds" when they know they'll get recognition, fame, money, etc. At this point people that do kind things without expecting something in return are a rarity. Social media is just clumped with people filming their good acts for internet points. I think some of them may be good people but a lot of them are just in it for the money they get from exploiting people at their most vulnerable moments. I doubt they ask for permission before filming (even though technically it's not illegal but it's morally not right imo) because it's like get filmed when you're living on the streets and get money to eat? Or refuse and probably get nothing.

I literally just watched a video, not an hour ago, where a female police officer approached a man sleeping in his vehicle on private property and once she woke him up the interaction started as normal as could be; not long into the interaction the subject held up a piece of paper for her to inspect and then abruptly put a pistol in her face. She's seen struggling with him and screaming in the video, "no! No! No! No! Please don't shoot me!" A second officer had been en route to her location for backup and when he heard some detail over the radio that sounded fishy (something about the vehicle info not coming back right, I think), he started speeding toward her location, which he was initially struggling to find, and he arrived and ran up as she was wrestling with the suspect through the window of his vehicle as he pulled a second gun. She was busy trying to point his first weapon down, away from her, fighting for her life, and couldn't get to her weapon. The second officer approached right about the time the second gun was produced and shot through the windshield, fatally injuring the man, dispatching the threat. It turned out he'd been on a meth bender; killed someone; then kidnapped his own family members and forced them to help hide the body. Then he fled the state and was actively being searched for, though this incident happened several states away.

THERE IS A FIRE!" it was small inside so it was a fast search and i saw a bit of fire starting to come in i reached the bedroom and there was an old man inside hard asleep. i screamed FIRE to wake him up. you would think waking up to a man you dont know screaming at you in your house would scare some one but this man seemed not calm but like he understood the objective right away. he couldnt go fast so my twin helped him walk. we asked if there was any one else and he said no. we put down the tail gate of the truck and told him to sit inside we got to move incase the tank explodes. we waited and the firemen got there and put the house out first we checked out the tank and im so unsure how it didnt explode because the remaining white paint turned black. the guy said thanks to us and we went back to our long trip.

If you know anything about Bone Thugs, you know they are from Cleveland and have always repped their neighborhood heavily throughout their career. When this story hit the news, they were shouting him out because they actually knew him back in the day and are from the same area in Cleveland and they were proud of him. When I saw them in 2013 not long after the story came out, he was actually there at the venue with Bone. At one point during the show, they brought him out on stage and announced to the crowd that he is the guy who saved those 3 girls who got kidnapped and just kinda highlighted how heroic his actions were. What I find aggravating about the Ariel Castro story is those three women wouldn't have suffered if the police and justice system weren't completely incompetent. Castro's ex was repeatedly assaulted by him even after she left him and took custody of their children. In one of the incidents, she was beaten so badly, she got a blood clot that caused an inoperable tumour. Despite all of this and the fact he was even frequently abducting her kids, a grand jury did not indict him on domestic assault charges and later a temporary restraining order she was granted was dismissed a few months later. She ended up dying to complications from that brain tumour. Two concerned neighbours did what the police and justice system failed to do for over 10 years.

It's the Tiktok/Twitter/Alphabet Mafia types with pronouns in their bio that usually act out like this. People are too afraid to say anything though because of being labeled something bad. Well I have news those kind of people are the lowest of the low and all they want to do is see good people suffer while crying and playing victim over this ridiculous pronoun nonsense. Most kids today are truly dumb as well being glued to their Ipads while being disrespectful to teachers and their own parents. The world is going to be a very dark place in the near future.

hard to blame them just look at social media and how low influencers go cause i know i wont be able to handle his position let alone go to depressing hospitals even if an influencer can effect a person if you have a little bit of soul somewhere and i thought going to children foster house as a school class assignment was anxious enough

Kinda hard to believe Eric is lying when his face literally turned BLUE from crying! Never seen anything like this, didn't even know that was possible

Everyone here has benefited their fellow human. My favorite thing about all this is that every single one of them is that theyre all so different from each other. And elderly man who knew his way around guns, a middle school kid who loves vehicles, a charasmatic, dude with a craving for McDonald's, a homeless down on his luck guy with a second chance, a pizza delivery man who did not fear the flame, a man who brings the joy of Christmas to everyone around him, and many others. They all deserve respect and admiration and i love how anyone in this commnet section no matter what your life may be like can be a hero.

Wavy, I'm glad you're here. Not many put a focus on making positive content sometimes to break the chaos. However, here you are sharing some heartwarming stories on a platform full of drama and controversy. Thank you, Wavy. We ALL appreciate you're work.

They may not be able to verify Santa's story, but one thing human's are EXTREMELY HECKING GOOD AT is picking up the slightest deviation or oddity in facial expressions conveying emotions. It's the exact reason faces are so hard to draw. We catch every flaw. That santa is 100% telling the truth, or something very close to it in my mind.
