Your glass sealant is AMAZING!! The only time I use my wipers now is if I'm in a severe downpour. Other than that, never use them. Also the Glass Boost works great too!

Why couldn't a regular wax or sealant work? It sounds like glass sealant is just specifically for glass, but isn't it basically doing the same thing?

I've used Adams Paint Sealant, it arrived in one of my mystery boxes for St. Patty Day, I loved it, also used some H2O after the first wash after applying the wax, I love it. Easy to apply with a DA polisher, lasted longer than Buttery Wax but perfect for a carnuaba wax feel

Great video and discussion! I really miss seeing Adam in as many videos since he sold the company and has lessened his involvement a bit. I totally understand it, I guess I'll just always associate him with Adam's Polishes - his story is just so inspiring!

Paint sealant followed by H2O guard and gloss or Americana wax. Other option is ceramics, but they are finicky and there are down sides that makes maintenance more important - you can get severe water spotting in the ceramic coating and bird droppings will still etch right through if allowed to sit. If you really are into having a good looking car, you keep it washed, and will remove sitting water and droppings regularly, then go ceramic.

@adam’s / stupid question; are there heat break points? I have a daily, Black BMW, which I keep on my driveway expose to the elements.. during the summer the paint is literally too hot to touch as it sits baking under direct sunlight. Would a “natural” wax was just melt/evaporate/break down under that heat.. (I’m in Northern NJ)

If I do a vintage car like the Z-28 and use a good wax, would it be a good idea to top it off with a sealant such as H2O Guard and Gloss to give it more durability?

No, use sealant first then wax on top of that after it sets up a day or so. Don’t seal and wax right after.

Then based on the video, if I understand what they're saying, it would probably be better to use a good wax and if I want to top it with something, use a spray wax or other wax based product on a vintage car.

Polish your giant 200lb box color tv. Electric cars are coming on strong. Your polished gas cars are being replaced with the new tech...just like the giant flat screen tv replaced that new 27inch box color tv. At least the paint on your obsolete cars will still look good!
