Dying laughing at that ending. Goff is giving a critique comparing it to "Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold", while Jeff is eating popcorn out of the dustpan and Jeoph sniffs and then licks a toilet brush. And the part where Geoff threw his work uniform on Jeff's head. 🤣 This was a good laugh. The music was outstanding as always, since Geoff never fails to deliver on a single note. You put a wonderful spin on this old song and the concept, arrangement, acting and especially the dancing (definitely want more of that please) were hugely enjoyable. Ok, so here’s my theory: After the mine collapsed in (on?) “Big Bad John,” the miners needed new jobs. Three of them became janitors, and one became a supervisor. They’re still going “Way Down,” just not into a mine. I’m just glad they were able to find work (and that we know their names now). Seriously though, I’ve been a huge Elvis fan my entire life, and Geoff did not disappoint with this cover. It is absolutely AMAZING! The singing, the dancing, the personalities of the clones are all just sheer perfection and so much fun. This is absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite Geoff Castellucci video ever. At least until he releases another one next month.

One thing that consistently surprises me is Geoff takes on songs by HUGE icons, songs dangerous to try to cover for risk of fandom ire, and he NAILS it. Every. Single. Time. That's talent, hard work, and courage right there. Anybody "Down" for a cover of "Lady" by Lionel Richie, as made famous by the great Kenny Rogers? A lowered version of that would melt the world.

Yeah, I think Geoff's method of not imitating the original artist, but paying tribute to them instead, is what makes his covers work so well. Along with amazingly creative arrangements.

LOVED IT! 😁 From the very beginning, straight down to the last line ("Misty Mountains Cold was way better"). 😁 Very different from what you were getting us kinda "used to". With that (good) pinch of humour and self-irony that I appreciate so much. 🙂 Creativity, rhythm, even (gosh!) dance! And very nice arrangement, as well as the "other Geoffs" who ain't doing what they usually do. 😁 Different, and in a very good way. 🤩 Can't wait for the next one. 🙂 Still, "Far over the Misty Mountains cold" though... 😁😁😁 (It actually IS at least one of my favourites... if not THE favourite. Maybe because I'm a huge Tolkien fan. But it moves me to tears every time 🙂).
