The thing is that mutants aren't the higher beings that the X-Men and Magneto expect them to be, including themselves. They're as flawed as any being in the universe and can choose to be lazy and irresponsible and even evil and greedy. Some preach that they should be better then humans, but some think why bother because of a belief that they were born better then them and should do as they please, as if it's different when a mutant does it. Magneto once declared himself the mutant police and went after Stacy X because of her business, saying it wasn't proper mutant behavior, and this was coming from a guy who slaughter thousands or people and not caring if they were innocent or not.

It kinda reminds me of how the Kree and the Skrull started fighting. They were each given gifts, and one was later judged as doing righteous things, and the other as squandering their gifts. Hence their wars. The age old question of how would your morals stand up if all your wants, and needs were met? Would you be virtuous? Would you become self serving, and tyrannical? Would you become slothful, and stagnant? Most philosophers usually agree, that we all need something to strive for, and/or struggle against to ever grow. In short, adversity equals growth, or necessity is the mother of invention[innovation] A lot of this was microcosmed in Season One of Westworld. The hosts (the A.I.s) only attained 'self', 'selfness' (i.e. the next level) through pain and/or suffering. And heading for season four they are still dealing with whats next? And who do we choose to become? Whether Human, A.I., Mutant, Mutate, Meta-Human, Post-Human, Clone, Cyborg, or what-have-you. Whew...sorry, that got deep!

I believe humanism is what separates the majority of Krakoans from the Arakki and their thousands of years of warring culture. For them it's unreasonable to value and preserve the lives of those who are unable to preserve their own existence. They value strength above all else. The Arakki politics probably revolve around killing and boasting as much as the Snarks. Anything the Quiet Council might have against Arakki culture would be hypocritical, since they're mostly as bad as them (from the human POV). What's striking to me in all this is that "Make more mutants" is the common law between both nations, meaning they both harbor the idea of mass reproduction, leaving to the environment the task of weeding out those who thrive from those who wither. Can't shake the feeling that Arakko is a big target for anti-mutant hatred.

Ernie, Amanda Sefton is NOT BLOOD RELATED to Nightcrawler. Margali found him after his real mother, Mystique, who conceived him with Azazel, threw him over a waterfall to hide her being a mutant(cutting through the bs). Amanda Seftons father is NOT Azazel or the German Lord that Mystique tried to trick into believing Kurt was his baby. So, unless you got a retcon for us saying different, saying Nightcrawler banged his "half sister" is TOTALLY WRONG and going too far. I'm torn on this. Could go two very extremely different ways. First this mass of mutant babies could be completely forgotten like the time the just had them line up to die concentration camp style. Or two, this could be the genesis if a whole new breed of mutants. Neo/ Morlocks. Mutant children who have never experienced sickness or want of material things and of course no loving parents. It's also extremely disappointing (having just had a child of my own), that they just flippantly dropped this. Like there are no repercussions on a woman's body and mind after carrying and birthing a baby. Let alone 9 months of everyone around them watching them grow more pregnant, and then one day not being pregnant anymore and not having a baby. This isn't Lord of the flies. There has to be responsible mutants seeing this happening. It's not a fast process.

I have a question . In (New X-Men #127) Xorn went to help out a mutant child who hadnt finished mutating. He went to get medicine for his mom and ended up getting shot and killed by the police. Xorn was sad and said "Ten days. In ten days it would have been all right. He would have awakened to his potential. " Was that kid ever resurrected and ever met his potential? To be honest I was super sad in that comic, and wished for some closure for the kid. Something I never forgot

They also always knew they were not Blood so there was no intentional incest "that worked out in the end cause they "found out" they weren't real siblings" cause that's just as fucked up. Nightcrawler and Amanda Sefton, according to how their core personalities were written and maintained through all story arcs, didn't have it in them to be capable of a transgression like that(cause it takes a special type of fucked up to even entertainment sleeping with a sibling or relative especially BLOOD). Oh also im competely here for the realistic approach of mutants teens and young adults leaving orphans. Its super sad but really realistic. I hate when comics present ideas and solutions and skip over all the potential issues like its some PERFECT plan with no faults. Also is it proven that Mutants give birth to other mutants 100% of the time? like what happens if humans are born. Are they gonna get kicked off Krakoa and Arako at age 18 if they dont develop powers? I wouldnt be surprised if they create segregation areas for those whe havent gotten their powers yet and theres some racism/discrimination happening in the future Also Nightcrawler has always had a psuhy personality. When he got really religious it stopped for a bit and let others come to him when they wanted advice or input. But When he has internal issues it always comes back where he wont shutup about something or another. Whether its goofing off, religion, or just complaining about a situation. But I do remember he sometimes does it to hide his internal sadness and problems. Its a subconscious deflection technique. I hope Nightcrawler uses his spare time to become like an Orphanage father taking care of the children as they grow up. It would give him purpose and matches his personality and backstory

I'm not clear on who is allowed to visit, or stay. I've been wondering about that human-with-a-mutant-connection-loophole. If your mutant-spouse (or other loved one) _legit_ _dies_ like in Otherworld, or through some technical snafu, do the get to go to the funeral before they're evicted/banished or what. And a human parent of a mutant child, how long do they get to visit, or stick around for, that kid? Are they excluded @ the kid's 18 or 21st birthday, or what? And what do the mutant-connected humans on or off Krakoa know of resurrection, crucible or other Krakoan secrets? They haven't been making that public knowledge! The closest I remember it being addressed, it seems like was, a family whose mom, and baby were mutants, but dad's a human (I think it was when Young Cable was tracking the mutant-baby-snatching/sacrificing cult) and they were struggling with the "Krakoan question" as it pertained to them, but I think that was left hanging. And so many more questions yet to be answered!

I think Nightcrawler's erratic behavior is to be expected. . If Krakoa can give eternal life what do you need god for? This is why Kurt is so out of pocket. The realization that his "humanity" is at odds with what it mean to be a mutant. It was Kurt's religion that kept him from being demonic like his father. His faith is his moral compass ,though imperfect, it guides him and inspires others. Kurt thought himself as a Catholic-ish Missionary for a new mutant nation . The Catholic Church has both spiritual and economic power but Krakoa only has the latter. "Make more mutants" was supposed to be about making families (like the Summers) . Because death is a basically a rejuvenating nap , life is not so precious and neither are babies thus the smash and dash orphans. Side note: I bet Tempo is speeding up the pregnancies form 9 months to 9 minutes. This will hopefully lead to the creation of a mutant religion that will includes Legion, Onslaught, The 5, Apocalypse, and blind spot being key figures

About that 'when they turn 18' thing. I was just reading up on Warpath's, aka James' Brother John, aka the Original Thunderbird, while researching something else, and it said his powers didn't manifest until he was like ~21. And Moira's, not until she died! So... Even though they can detect the mutant gene better now...yet wouldn't it be something if they _still_ got it wrong, and turned away a very powerful (pre-manifested) Mutant who came away hating mutantkind. ...Could be a huge fumble on their part.

I believe the key to Onslaught's situation lies in the questions related to a mutant mind being uploaded to a body different from their own. We've seen it happening with Betsy, she had to come back in Kwanon's body. Siren had the Morrigan in her mind too, like Amahl Farouk and Shadow King. Clearly there are multiple mutant minds "sharing husks" already. These mutants need their own bodies. (Not more than Destiny and Scout tho)

Moreover, I watched the whole FX “Legion” series and this new WOX Legion is kind of growing on me. Genetics are weird like that. If you have 1 parent who has a mutation, it can be either manifest or latent, 2, combo powers or none at all. It all depends on whether the gene is dominant or recessive. I'm sure the human children of mutants still have the potential for mutation, it's just not the dominant gene, as Slipstream showed us. It just needs to be awakened.
