Going on 3 weeks of driving feels stronger lots of get up and go. Proud of myself. Once again thank you.

I agree with you Rich. I like to fix things and not just replace them.

Rich looks like this customer loved this SUV. Not a cheap fix. And know you don’t half way do anything! Thanks for sharing! 💯👍👊

Never get tired of watching your eye for detail and vast knowledge to make you one of of the few honest, meticulous mechanics around. The Comment of you like to fix things not just replace parts to get a little more mark up and ease of assembly. You repair so they dont have problems in the future and the only way to do it. Keep it up and thanks for thr video!

Rich that is some aggressive tires on that vehicle and the way you fix things is why people bring their vehicles to you and keep coming back

I judge that repair cost customer close to $4000. Just rebuilt my 93 Chevy truck front to back for $4000. Radiator 5.7 all steering including upper a arms, back to Rearend bearings seal n brakes. Part quality: Used all Standard electronic fuel n spark parts to replace original. Had to go back to original Chevy electronics. Quality Matters.

HI hope you get this message! I watched this video and got the courage to tackle this job myself. Changing all the same parts got to the timing chain and rotated the motor several times and I can't get the timing marks to line up any suggestion. Thank you. 2012 qx56

The timing chain marks are for set up. They will never "line up" after the engine turns over. The service manual is your mandatory point of reference to make repairs on any engine.

Very expensive fix....good job .....good content and thanks

With the cost of those parts and the parts you took it apart to fix in the first place I think I'd just burn it.
@salg88785 ай бұрын
How do you handle the relearn procedure? I did pretty much everything you did with oem parts and it took a few hours or driving to smooth out idle and new ignition timing as it seemed to be using the stretched chains timing for a while. Now its smooth though

I'm still stuck on the part where they really thought Mass manufacturing of a "Cost effective" Mechanical pump that can compress a Liquid to a near explosion and contain it, Then make it last... It's a Marvel...
