My bathroom sink is UGLY! No cabinet or anything. Picture a sink in the county jail or prisions. That's what it looks like, however my bathroom is also a tad bit smaller than yours.
@racqueldillon35604 жыл бұрын
My sink is sea shell shaped with ridges ... it’s pretty ugly bit the shape isn’t conducive to things like marble paper cover.

Super ugly ORANGE wet wall 😔
@rayannlogan95904 жыл бұрын
I would have simply left the backing on the tile instead of messing with the shower curtain. Score the paper with a utility knife using a ruler to create a 1 inch or so border, then peel off the border only. Voila, tiles only sticky at the edges.
@genevievebonneau094 жыл бұрын
Great idea. I'm going to try it out. Although the floor I'm going to be covering is linoleum and it's so ugly, the landlord should be paying me for covering it 😁. It's uneven as well, but there's nothing I can do about that 🤷

@toshahiggins96964 жыл бұрын
I love this idea. I have been in my rental house for 7 years and I've wanted to redo the bathroom this whole time. It never occurred to me I could simply lay down plastic and put flooring over it. What a great idea! Can't wait to say goodbye to that ugly lenoleum!

Thank you! Everytime I see someone use stick and peel tile they don’t use a sub floor and I didn’t know what it was called (subfloor) to protect the original flooring. Definitely renter friendly and your definitely gained a subscriber

Yay! Welcome to the fam!
@hightopv13523 жыл бұрын
Does the subfloor allow the tiles to be removed easily?
@cjb1283 жыл бұрын
Even tho' I like her idea, it's brill ... it's just a quick underlayment. Subflooring is generally wood or concrete. From bottom up, in order of layment in a house above a basement it would be first the wood nailed to the joists, which is a subfloor, then an underlay, then the visible tile or wood "finish" floor. It has several purposes such as it provides a moisture barrier to protect the finishing (decorative) flooring, it provides support for it as well, and it helps to absorb sound. Some apartments install thin sub-flooring and underlayment, and that's why you can hear footsteps above you, a real nuisance in some buildings. For laminate, they generally use a thin foam underlay which stabilizes the top layer.
@DarcyMiyamoto2 жыл бұрын
@@cjb128 pretty sure they’re just referring to a covering and not literal subflooring but info appreciated ig
