Looks good! If you have any plans to do this anywhere else, getting a contour tool is a game changer! Also, the trick with the piece around the toilet if you don’t have the contour tool is to make a template like you did, and match the top of that template to the bottom of your piece, then cut- kinda think of it like how you would place a napkin in your lap. Your cut should be correct once the piece is flipped on its correct side. Hopefully that makes sense!

I’m so glad this video popped into my feed, my bathroom is laid out like yours except the tub/shower area is behind the door you enter and my bathroom is smaller than yours if you can imagine, I need to do my floors but couldn’t figure out the toilet and radiator situation, this helps . Maybe use a piece of cardboard to measure around the toilet then lay that on tile for template? I’m glad I found you. I have so many things to do in my home. My bathrooms being one of the projects.

Curious why not paint first. Then if you do have a miss w drips etc you do not risk damaging your new flooring. Btw The floor looks great!

I absolutely love your videos. I have the same tile that’s been laying in my closet for months. I’m glad I haven’t installed it because I love how the white grout looks. What kind did you use? Should it be for vinyl? I have gray that I’m going to return but I think I have the wrong kind.

There’s so many mixed comments about toilet calk. Some say don’t because you can’t see water leaks. Some say only calk the front so that the water can still come from the back. Some say don’t calk at all.

I actually thought this will be harder. Question: why didn’t you start putting the tiles from the wall so you only have to cut one side, which is the other wall.

Good question. Starting in then middle insures that the tile will be centered with the space. If you start from a wall you may end up with a tile line that is off center. I hope I explained that well.
