Dang bro, you got skills no doubt! I bought my first DAW Studio One 4, about 3 or 4 years ago, and have been learning how to mix and master on my own, or with the help of KZbin videos. I knew 0 about how to do anything, but have learned a lot, but not nearly enough. I havent been able to find anyone who could correctly, and sufficiently, explain how to do things such as what you have outlined here, so big ups and thanks to you bro, I am a subscriber, and a fan now!! *sidenote--I am a self taught guitarist of 36 years, and have recently integrated my keyboard into my setup. I do everything on all of my tracks, and just want to do them correctly, and efficiently. I believe I will learn a great deal from your vids, so thats what Im about to do my bro!

Thanks, I noticed your theme music doesn't break up my crappy laptop speakers like some other stuff does...It sounds like you have plenty of bass there, do you generally use a hi-pass filter @ a certain frequency to keep things from getting too built up down there & overloading small speakers? Thanks!

I just found your channel and it's so helpful, thank you! I got my first microphone (rode nt1) and my audiobox interface. Everything sounds really nice on Studio one but once I export the song it sounds weird, like not clean enough. Idk what else to do, I have tried a million things. Any ideas of a common mistake that can cause this? Thank you in advance!

Hey Wayne, if I have a voiceover(for a commercial)track that is say. 32 seconds and I want to squeeze the file down to 30 seconds without any further editing…how do I do that?
@waynewav3 ай бұрын
You could use time compression to shorten it. It will play back a little faster.
@Airtouch672 жыл бұрын
What about the "default" settings on the compressor? Worth using?

If I recorded a whole song already do I just mix one vocal track and use that for all the other vocal tracks it would I need to tweak each individual track like that

Millions of tutorials on KZbin ....it's crazy..I know for the new engineer he don't see any change. I have come to understand that it's all subjective. If it sounds good to you then go with it. Tutorials will just confuse you . Lol
