You already teach us so much about the A320, but the cherry on top of the cake would be an "line focused" explanation about the systems of the aircraft, because its something that not many people are able to explain it, and i think you would be the perfect pilot to spread a little bit of your knowledge about it. But has i said ,you already do an amazing job by giving us such detailed and easy to comprehend videos. Thanks once again for your master piece work @@waypointsaviation 😃

Awesome tutorial! Love the energy and enthusiasm in your voice, this was real fun. And I had no idea the QRH had that handy list for the SOP's! I was super confused trying to make sense of the order in which everything is done by following only the FCOM. You are a life saver! Thanks a lot!

Could you please tell me if you always make a cargo smoke fire test when you make the other fire test like APU or engine when you prepare the plane ? Thanks a lot ! 😎
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
Usually no, we just perform the APU & Engine Fire Test during pre-flight, the Cargo smoke sensors perform their own test when powered on and let us know via the ECAM if something is wrong... Hope this helps... :)

I have a question, well actually 2 questions. Does the clock automatically adjust to the new time zone when flying into a new zone? Or does it have to be changed manually? And the second question is; When tuning the radio, or actually any of the instruments, is it automatically adjusted on the other side, that is the 1st lieutenant's side as well?
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
Hello, Thanks for your comments, let's answer your questions, 1) We only use 1 Time Zone which is Zulu time (GMT Time) this way regardless of where we are in the world we only reference Zulu time to help stay coordinated. 2) Yes, whenever I make any changes in my MCDU it automatically changes on the FOs MCDU, however, QNH Settings and ND Screens are individually adjusted for each side.

Should you have the seat belts lights on before refuelling .
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
Hello Quite the opposite, during fueling procedure has us keep the seat belt signs off and cabin crew should advice passengers that fueling is under process, this is so in the event evacuation is required it would be quicker for passengers to get out of their seats and escape.

Question ? Does the external power provide electrical and pneumatic pressure ?
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
Hey Allan External power provides electrical power only, if you want pneumatic pressure from an external source it comes from a ground air unit which is a separate connection and source to external power. Hope this helps :)
@allangabriel5444 Жыл бұрын
Sorry for that. I seen that you switched to APU power
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
@@allangabriel5444 no apologies necessary. :) and yes we start the APU which can be a source of power as well until the main engines are turned on but primarily the apu would work as a source of pneumatic air for air conditioning as well as engine start. Let’s put this way, I’ll use external power to power the Electricals and start the apu and use the apu for air conditioning. Once I’m ready to push back and start engines I’ll disconnect the external power and switch to using the apu for both external and pneumatic

Captain all these preparation in real life is read and do ??
@waypointsaviation Жыл бұрын
They're not read and do, during training obviously you're allowed to read and do so you know the steps but once you're done with the type-rating you should know the procedures from memory. But the good thing is we always have to use checklists to ensure we didn't forget any steps along the way. So essentially yeah you can say its read and do 😁

Thanks for your comment and your input... we'll surely put your comment about the jokes to the consensus. If the crowd wants more seriousness and no jokes we can do that... although it would take away from the flavor of how we deliver these training videos.... with regards to the ads, one can go premium and do away with it 😁
