We marry what we grew up with. Marrying into another fused family allows the inner child to continue to imagine a family he/she never had. The guaranteed crash in self esteem from this fantasy bond is a Wifi for narcissists. Family system to family system. The desire to protect parents (or blame one parent and idolize another) is almost hard wired. It can last through a 40 year marriage. Even with that, it’s rare that denial is broken and attachment patterns in one’s own life are acknowledged. Parents are gods to children….and traumatized adults who repeat their patterns.

Empaths do not attract them. They prey on empaths. Empaths are easy victims and their favorite food, the codependent types of empaths. these people are everywhere, most of them are just not diagnosed!!! For years they have said only 1 % of people and ofcourse a definition of a psychopath is some type of head ingery, but this is kind of trickery because there is lot of people who display anti social behaviour even if they are not psychopaths. Maybe just a month ago about there was an video I watched where they even said 30 % have anti social tendencies. That could actually be much closer to the truth. I have been so unlucky with people I tend to think it's more like 90 % but also I could think some behaviours is more destructive then others think so the bar for me is lower. But I have been thinking a lot about the fact that most people say that most want peace and not war well well if that was true there would not be so much drama and bullying as there is or even victimblaming and all the nonsense people in general occopy their time. Thinking that there is just a few with these problems can set you up thinking there is something wrong when it's not. Don't be naive and be on your guard.
@GnosisDharma2 жыл бұрын
sorry noticed some words were forgotten in my reply, but many times youtube have deleted my comment when I have corrected them so I won't but I just want to say that I meant if you don't understand that there aren't just a few people who have antisocial tendensies it can set you up for confusion, you can start wondering if something is wrong with you even if it's not. Blaiming victims is very common in our society like if someone been bullied multiple times they say it's something wrong with the victim so then you are a fair target. I know this because I'm living through it, but I think when we have trauma, it can be easily spot by abusers and they surrond you as sharks. I at least should have some training how to act if people say or do that because I have no idea. Maybe what worked at home don't work in society in general.

I complimented my narc. Making her feel like she is the greatest thing since sliced bread . She fell for it. And gave up her true intentions. To want everyone to become like her. She played the pity trip but did not get far. One by one people figured her out. I learned to keep quiet about my goals and progress I made. She turned her intentions to somebody else and left me alone. Give something the want and get something in return is great advice. Thanks.

I have to agree. The only way I've been able to successfully deal with a narcissist has been to limit my engagement with them first and foremost, if not cutting them out of your life completely. As some people have already pointed out, unfortunately this isn't always an option (custody battles, workplace issues, etc). My heart goes out to people who are caught in situations where they have no choice but to duke it out with a narcissist. It really is an uphill battle, but you just have to believe people like Rebecca when they tell you that you can turn this around. You need to believe that you can win, because the only way they can win is by doing everything in their power to make you think otherwise.

Mastering this & being able to overpower narcissists feels like a super power. I highly suggest getting educated on them & their tactics, as well as the other roles in codependency & how THEY help the narcissist. Education is THE key. Interestingly, a very good practice field to develop your skills with is counter-trolling online trolls. Especially the present-day over-the-top leftist ones, which are primarily full-of-themselves delusional children on false power trips over nothing real. Once you can develop a counter-strategy to their nonsense, dealing with the real-world narcissists in a real-time face-to-face situation is pretty easy, given both have near-identical childish spastic false superiority complex thought processes and gameplay in how they act/react to otherwise benign things normal functioning people never think twice about.

As someone who just recently got away from a narcissistic roommate, I can attest to everything Rebecca is saying here. When I tried to point out the hurtful behavior, he doubled down, then tripled down, then quadrupled and so on. The last month or month and a half of me living there I gave no indication that I was fed up with his narcissism and after I was finally all moved in, I sent him a final message via link to a Google doc explaining all the bullying nonsense. Question : Do you think certain personality disorders should be taught in school ? Do you think it would cut down on the amount of abusive relationships because people can see the red flags ? Or do you think that would help them become better at hiding it ?

I think there should be a course called life skills and these kind of topics discussed.
@pinkposey81343 жыл бұрын
No, I think parenting needs to be taught. If no parents then a parental situation (community). Narcs study this stuff and are one here getting info. seriously. I see your point, however life is about hard knocks and the line has to be drawn for personal accountabilities. I am responsible for being accountable to my self and others and ya sometimes it totally feels terrible when mistakes happen. The guy that shot up my local grocery store in Boulder CO, would not have listened to this topic in school. And we both went to school in the same county.
@cerenyldz27543 жыл бұрын
@Dr. SAMMY BAYA The initial part could happen but being a normal member of two narcissistic dynasties I can tell you that the second won't happen bc of the nature of the disorder. Let's say 1 out of 10 future narcissists will use it to get help, and the other 9 will use it to fly under the radars better. I wish it wasn't so, but it is. They even use therapy for that, to look normal. They fool the therapists you take them to get help bc they are supposedly suffering and abusing you bc of it, and they tell the therapist you are abusing them. The best thing we can do for (either future or present) narcissists is to accept they won't change and move from there. It's much more complex than parenting or teaching. Within the dynasties we know a narcissist when they are in the womb, and it only gets worse after that, they enter old age but their psychological ages regress as if the regular 3 y/o wasn't immature enough.
@cerenyldz27543 жыл бұрын
@@pinkposey8134 My mother attended parenting school and used it to appear perfect outside while abusing me callously inside. A year in advance I made the menu and looked forward to it. The night before he got “sick” and made ME cancel HIS family’s dinner.. The year after it was our turn again to make family dinner at New Year’s Eve and then he went to ask family members what they wanted to eat so I never got a chance to cook for them but he made the soup.. that was the only thing he could make with the recipe next to him. On vacation I wanted to see a waterfall but when we got to the intersection he turned right instead of left. He would call me by his exes name... After a week that I left the ex moved in his house. Thank goodness I never moved out of my house , I would have nothing now. He misjudged me.. I was way to strong for him. He couldn’t control me. Even now he shows up every single day at my parking space and I don’t care anymore..,

@@pinkposey8134 You only know the corporate narcs, hey? In my area there's a lot of narcs that love little kiddies way too much. If you have little children, it's inevitable your family gets stalked. Trust me, you don't want to play games with these fellows. The police won't do anything to save people from them if those games go sour.

I KNOW these are working because I don't come home thinking about their comments. I can legit let it go in through one ear and out the other. Without her making my heart or stomach twinge by the things she saying. (A narc coworker) thank you SO much for everything you do. It's so true , they are all the same. They all like to act like their "different and mysterious" but they are seriously CLONES. It's actually funny to see now I am on the other side. Thank you again for educating us. I know I would still be a in a fog headspace without taking your advice. I also know it's working because she made the comment "I know nothing about you. Not even your fav candy" and I even gray rocked my response "I don't really have one" THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! MRS. ZUNG I KNOW IT'S WORKING!

I've already had to play this smoke and mirrors game for the formative years of my life. As soon as someone shows themselves to be a narc I just cut them out of my life. That's why I'm known to be "stubborn" and "difficult" but I don't care for what people think of me. The longer you let that narc lurk around in your life, the more opportunity they have to collect data about you they can use as leverage later on.

As I undergo with most of the videos, in the comment section people are just wanted to dump them and run.. That's the final resolute.. In our country we throw our men too, but not this frequent and easy.. I suggest you to make more videos regarding "HOW TO HANDLE THESE PEOPLE WISELY".. SO that we can handle them effectively so that they will not became more miscreants for other ladies.. Steering a man for after 15 years will b easier if I get the proper medicine for him, 🤣😂, Thanks and God bless..

I had a boss as well as an ex who are Diabolical Narcs. Did not learn about Nism till after both were over. The asshole boss w raging temper tantrums etc, I decided not to take it personal and the damage wasn't that bad and my payback was to open my own business ultimately leading him to have to close up shop. The Narc Ex's damage was of course personal, very severe and lasting to this day.

Dealing with my oldest daughter... she yanks the grandkids around like their a playing card. The baby dads are never allowed another relationship and she uses them as pawns to keep her supply. I just told her no more fighting on the front lawn. She hated the your are not going to be doing that here. She lost her mind. And then for 4 days threatened me about a $60 pair of pants. Totally lost her mind on social media. And when people saw this. They called me so I told them the reason I said no to her. The supply is running out.

I am soooo happy I found your channel, every other speaker say the only solution is to leave it alone because the narcissist always win. I do not agree only if you know what your doing. in my case its a business narcissist partner so I just cannot walk aways after what he has done, he also has confessed to me he's done damage to others who are unaware of including his own parents.... one of my favorite sayings... Because of what they’ve done, I guess you can say they have the advantage or “upper hand.” That’s not the problem, the problem is, I am the covert narcissist now who is very passive aggressive in my correspondence. Not everytime. For the most part I submit, you know the phrase, “pick your battles.” But when I do decide to speak up, I tend to be very passive aggressive. Is this wrong? I mean, they have what they want and all that will hurt me (my children) and so they don’t really need that constant “fix” from me, until I ask for something I already know the answer to, but I do need it on record what is said. The question itself isn’t wrong, but I know which subjects I can talk about and cannot talk about with them. That’s when they get their supply. Sometimes I do not respond, and sometimes I do, intentionally will a passive aggressive undertone.
