Small hint to get rid of the indoor flickering in videos: try to set your camera for 50 frames/sec instead of 60. Electricity has 50 Hz frequency in most of Europe, so house lighbulbs go with the same flickering rate.

Thank you so much for taking the time to letting us know about this!! I've tried changing every single setting to try to get rid of this and it never crossed my mind that the 60 fps could be the problem!! Thank you so much 🙏🏼

I found you guys when planning a return trip to Cozumel with the intention to eat our way around the little island - your food tour video, then the beach recs, really served us well. Then, a year later, when daydreaming about an upcoming trip to Italy... I stumbled upon your videos again and it felt just like meeting old friends fortuitously. You seem so comfortable with one another, and are so generous and genuine with the viewers, "spending my time with you" feels like an extra cozy way to daydream about hitting the road again soon! It's a definite follow from me ❤

And welcome to the Italy travel series. We still have a bunch of videos to share and we hope they help you plan your upcoming trip. Italy is a dream 😍 Happy travel planning Marie ✈️ And sincerely thank you for spending your time with us 💕

Yes. Any place in Italy is a real wonder. And especially Tuscany with the splendid Florence which for me is the most beautiful and impressive city in Europe, forever in my heart. A good friend of mine said very nicely that "when a wall collapses in Italy, unfortunately a piece of history and art is ruined". I am so glad for you that you chose those fabulous places as your travel destination.

I agree with your decision: well done. I'm Italian and I suggest to everybody the strangers who wants to visit Italy to forget Florence, Venice, Rome, Naples, MIlan and so on and visiting instead all the small town aroud the biggest. Probably you will discover the real Italy and the real Italianity.
@waysoftheworld_10 ай бұрын
Thank you! I do understand the appeal of the iconic destinations - especially for people visiting the first time. But I also agree people would probably have a better time in the other places. We really loved Napoli, though!
@v7poistblaznei9 ай бұрын
I think everyone's travel experience is their own. If you land in Italy for the first time and you're bound to your itinerary because you; only have 10-14 days; you're taking trains everywhere jet lagged, over packed, stressed because you made a point to NOT to order a cappuccino in the afternoon so you ordered an "expresso " Dang now I look like a tourist! Well at least I pronounced the 'e' in gracie. What are all these tourist doing here anyway? This is MY Rome holiday! You know, running around Florence, Venice, Rome, Naples, MIlan for your first trip isn't so bad. ( Personally, I surely wouldn't visit all those cities in a week or so) Now, you can go home, regroup and come back again. Rent a car and visit all the small towns you want. And as you stated, park on the outskirts of a large city and take a train to the center...Stay in an Agriturismo, or just get lost. More time spent in any country, more deeper your cultural experience will be. Even if it takes a few trips! BTW, where in Italy to you live Andrea?
@andreamelchiorri53029 ай бұрын
You are right. Obviously my suggestion was for " a second time in Italy" and for travelers and not tourists. It's normal for a tourist first visit the most iconic towns in Italy that, ufortunally, due to the tourism itself, are becaming a stereotyped model of italian style. But the real italian life is far from the big actractives. Also the italian people hospitality is more genuine far from the tourist path. This does not mean that the greatest charm rightly goes to the historic cities. I was born 70 year ago and I live in Ferrara: a small town 50km to north of Bologna. The medieval kingdom of the Estense family. I traveled a lot in my life for business, I was an engineer, and due of that I ever staied quite far from the big cities...discovering the real essence of the countries. Have a nice day

Hi Laurie! I think you wedding host is Mary? She asked us about transportation and I think it was for you 😂 So, here's our answer: Our host offered to drive us to Montepulciano and we took the school bus on the way back to Sinalunga. It was a fun experience, but then you're tied to the bus schedule. If you do want to make the trip to Montepulciano, it's better to rent a car in advance.To keep in mind though; I don't think there are car rental agencies in Sinalunga. Enjoy. This area of Italy is breathtaking!!

@barbarasestak9085 Full explanation/fun fact: it should have been Volterra (as in the books), but the author never seen volterra, not even in Google maps because she described in high detail a main square that doesn't look like the one in volterra at all (plus a non existing fointain). That's why in the movies the shot where they reach the town are from actual Volterra but then the shots in the square are in montepulciano
