I created a professional Rocket League training routine and used it for a week. After studying and experimenting with Rocket League improvement for years, this is what I've determined to be the best routine there is to improve at Rocket League the fastest.

I've learned so much over the years from talking with various experts about Rocket League improvement. I've talked with many pros, coaches, and sports psychology experts to truly figure out what someone can do to improve at Rocket League the fastest. This routine I've made is all about doing that. How do you improve at Rocket League the fastest? What are the most important things to train? How should you spend your time in Rocket League? How do you reach a flow state consistently? All of these questions are answered in this video. This routine is a very powerful tool and you can tell by the results of it when I used it myself.

works for people to rank up this way when they don't have school or work to go to. Want a video on how to get better when you can only play 2 days a week and what to do during those days since no one really lives this lifestyle of being able to play rocket league for 9 hours a day

I mean that's a specific scenario, most people work something like 9-5 and actually can play every day, then there's all the work from home people, or people that are on call but don't work every day, I mean there's a lot. But sure you only play twice a week, okay, warm up for 20-30 minutes, then play. Make one of the days for training, one for playing. I mean if you work a lot, you work a lot, but also it's rare, so of course you couldn't do it at the same time
@M4ysFu

Then just enjoy the game, become a freestyler. You can’t expect to rank up with little to no play time, it’s not magic (no disrespect). Practice freestyling since you don’t have a a lot of time to play, then if one day when you find your self being able to dedicate more time to the game, focus on the ranked aspect. Then you’ll notice a phaat increase of improvement (since you been grinding consistency of mechanics). At that point, you’ll just need to hone in some game sense (which is fairly easy, compared to learning mechanics). Or just be a demon and become a 1v1 main. Gotta alter the game around you, if you can’t alter around the game. There’s ways around man.

Ask yourself one thing, though.. "why?". Why do you need a new training routine for a game? It doesn't mean anything in real life. Just play and enjoy it. It's different for people like Wayton or pros/content creators that don't have a regular job or school. If it's really a passion of yours, sure but only if you can juggle it around your life. Revolve gaming around your life, don't revolve your life around gaming.

The only thing I can attest to in this video is waking up early and having a good day, not feeling groggy and watching RL videos throughout the day. When I have class at 10am and I have to get up earlier and then go to work, when I get home I have had a full day and I'm ready to play games as I've earned it and yesterday, for example, I went from gc 2 to gc 3 and dropped 1k in 2 games. The days where I have no classes or work and wake up a little later and slump over to my computer I just don't play as well.

Another point - for me at least - is WHEN I play ranked. Because the timing each day matters a lot IMO, both regarding what teammates you get, and how much you yourself can focus. For me, it is always tempting to play ranked at 2-5pm, but I find that to be the worst time to rank up. There are prob several explanations for this, but some of them is prob that people usually have a dip in mental focus ability right around there due to big meals being some ways off and most energy having been spent doing smth 8 am to 2pm. The best time for ranking up seems to be around 8pm to 10pm in my experience, because people have ingested their evening meal by then, giving them more energy while not leaving them hungry or anything. I know it sounds a little crazy, but give it a try. I also find myself just playing better and more consistent in that time frame for whatever reason

On a side-note, I see a lot of people mentioning/using coco's shooting training mod, but what are your thoughts on the True Shot mod? Coco's is great for learning how and where to hit the ball, but True Shot has a lot of variety. It does however seem a bit too artificial sometimes if that makes sense.

as a pc player, there is something you can do that also helps, after your slomo do 10 or so minutes of around 1.2 - 1.3 game speed using bakkes mod, you have the focus solomo, helps with precision because the increased game speed is like having higher sensitivity and for aerials it feels like you are playing in slomo, you want the slomo warm up to be longer than the high speed tho in my experience

If possible, I would like to see a "real" routine about the best way to play Rocket League. Not that his isn't real but this is only applicable to about 1% of the playerbase. "Normal" people have a day job and other daily tasks, maybe even a relationship to consider or children to take care of. So what would be the most efficient routine of lets say 2-3 hours every couple days? As much I like the sound of what's done in your video and it really is interesting to see even if I take a week off, I couldn't do this. I have more time to spent on games more than the average I bet but not that much! :P

Totally get that! I wouldn’t have been able to do this routine at all if I weren’t doing it FOR a video. Just not enough time and energy before or after a full day of work. I hope there’s still some cool takeaways/tips and that you enjoyed seeing the progression anyway! There’s hours worth of tutorial content on the channel already if that’s what you’re looking for as well!
@xomvoid_akaluchiru_987

I think some of the main takeaways that you can implement into any routine is a bit of exercise and meditation! A warmup in freeplay for 15 minutes isn't that much time to dedicate. You don't have to spend a whole hour on shooting practice unless that's your focus for a session. I would personally cut out the slo-mo warmups. If you like 1s then you can totally have a blast practicing like that for an hour. Watching pro gameplay or just high level gameplay is great for studying. Playing 2s is what it's all about, have a blast. To sum it up, if you only had 2 hours to dedicate to playing rocket league (besides exercise and meditation) you could make a few different routines. Mechanics grind: 15m freeplay warmup 45m of shooting practice 1hr of 1s for application practice Smart player: 45m study your own games 15m warmup 1h of 2s to practice strategic play I can come up with more, but small routines like that, you could fit into a weekly or monthly schedule where you dedicate certain days or weeks to certain aspects of the game. No routine or rank matter if you're not having fun though!

Atm I'm really into RL again and I really want to climb higher . Was recently given a few training packs by an SSL player that have drastically improved my mechanics tho no rank change as of yet (probably coz I don't play too consistently ATM and my confidence isn't there yet) Imma try out the things you've done in this video since I've got the time to and RL keeps me from just laying in bed for however long I'm able to. Wonder how it'll impact me and my gameplay/rank Probably wont be able to implement as many hours as you do but i can definitely shorten the regiment into a time frame that works for me

I don't know the exact definition of flow state but man i played a 2s tourney solo que earlier and it the closest thing to a flow state. My partner was always there for passes always there to save a vice versa. like First time i really felt like I just let go and played. and now it feels like a crack addiction cant wait for tomorrow to start all over again

I think I'm do fifteen minutes of every rocket league training thing you mentioned, 'cause I don't have that time. :( And yes, you did get me, not gonna say my age, a young teen to run. Though I like it and to mid-noon on school days.
